On August 24, 2019, Danish Princess Benedikte attended the opening of the Youth Island (Middelgrundsfort) which is located in Øresund between Copenhagen and Malmö. The construction of the island has recently been completed. The Youth Island is an activity platform and development center for all Danish young people. The Middelgrundsfort was originally built in 1894, and was acquired and donated to the Danish Scout movement by The A.P. Møller Foundation and the Nordea Foundation in 2015 – and so the creation of the Youth Island aka Ungdomsøen was started. The Youth Island is the world’s largest artificially landscaped island.

Former King Juan Carlos of Spain had a successful triple bypass surgery this Saturday that was completed without incident. King Felipe VI went to Quiron University Hospital in Madrid with his mother, Queen Sofia, when the operation was completed. As he left the hospital afterwards, King Felipe VI of Spain said he was "very happy" about how the surgery was performed, adding that "everything went perfectly" in a statement to reporters waiting at the hospital entrance.

Prince Albert of Monaco visited Trogir town in Croatia with his superyacht Arience together with his children Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella. Trogir is a historical harbour city located in Split-Dalmatia region of Croatia on Adriatic shore. The tour also included Skradin town in Croatia. The luxury 61-metre-long yacht, with which The Prince sailed into the Dalmatian town of Trogir, is worth 80 million US dollars.
