King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden presented the Prince Eugene Medals (Prins Eugen-medaljenat) in a ceremony at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Last year, due to the pandemic, the medal ceremony did not take place. For that reason, the 2020 medalists received their medals on August 25, 2021. The 2021 medalists will receive their medals on November 5, 2021. The Prince Eugene Medal was instituted by Gustav V to mark the 80th birthday of Prince Eugene in 1945.
Lovely colour and style in Silvia's outfit, but the jacket is too small and the sleeves do not have the right fit on shoulders. - Ellie
ReplyDeleteQuelle magnifique silhouette dans ce tailleur-jupe au boutonnage original ; très jolie couleur !
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely colour for Silvia - but the star is the Lady in red!
ReplyDeleteAlways elegant. This soft color suits her wonderfully. Lovely Queen Silvia. King Carl-Gustav looks handsome. They make a great team.
ReplyDeleteThis is another nice, classy look for the swedisch Queen, but the fit could be better, over the chest and shoulder area, also I'm not a real fan of an angled button front . (I have jacket like that myself, but zippered).
ReplyDeleteThe colour lovely.
Another nice suit in a great colour, though the jacket is not a particularly good fit. Is the red outfit a traditional Swedish outfit?
ReplyDeleteIt is a traditional outfit from far up North. Beautiful.
DeleteThe Queen looks elegant. Mary I
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of the angled cut of the jacket, but the color and style fits her nicely. Both the King and Queen look relaxed and engaged with the participants. jj
ReplyDeleteStrange that from this lovely coloured suit the jacket is so I’ll fitting.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of the buttons, but it needs something to keep the tissue in place.
