Queen Margrethe looks just as lovely in this gown as she did when she wore it to Princess Benedikte's 75th birthday gala hosted by the Queen. It looks like she is wearing the same pearl necklace and earrings too. Beautiful is beautiful so why not wear it again!

  3. The Queen looks stunning and as usual, miles and miles of smiles.
Question ?? - shouldn't she have had at least a cup of tea with her cousin at Buckingham Palace?

    1. How do you know that she didn't?

    2. Well yes, Elizabeth, now you are putting doubt into my mind. BUT if the Queen did put the kettle on and make a nice cup of tea for her cousin, why must it be a royal secret?

Queen Elisabeth was at Windsor at the time. We don’t know for sure if Queen Margarethe has visited her. There are multiple royal private gatherings as well that don’t get publicity.

Not only is this dress beautiful, but it fits Queen Margrethe perfectly. The form and fit complements her lovely height and slender frame. She looks every bit the Royal Queen that she is. Very nice indeed.
The Duchess of Gloucester and the other ladies also look very nice. I love the silk/satin outfit of the lady in the white top and navy blue skirt as well. Once again, a crisp white shirt or blouse always looks so elegant.

  5. Queen Margrethe looks very regal in her purple gown. Her earrings and brooch appear to be amethysts and are gorgeous, as are her pearls. The Duchess of Gloucester looks lovely in her navy blue gown accented with her pearls. I love the blue satin skirt and white satin blouse worn by the lady seated at the far right in the bottom photo. As her blouse has crystal-like buttons, her only accessory is her earrings. She looks very chic.

Stunning pieces, pearl necklace, bracelets and brooches. Love the earrings. She is always perfectly groomed.
