Princess Eugenie and Sarah Ferguson gave care packages to NHS staff

This week, Sarah Ferguson, her daughter Princess Eugenie and Eugenie's husband Jack Brooksbank got together and gave care packages to frontline National Health Service staff. The family was pleased to do their bit during the coronavirus crisis and delivered care packages, containing supplies like food and cleaning products, to Hammersmith Hospital in West London on last Wednesday and then again on Saturday.

Hermann Buehlbecker, an entrepreneur and the chief executive of the Lambertz group, posted the photos of Sarah and Eugenie receiving the pastries. Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, reposted the photos on her Instagram account.

  1. Magnifique initiative ; j'espère que tous les trois ont porté un masque ainsi que des gants pour entrer dans l'hôpital !

    1. They probably did not have to enter the hospital itself! The gesture itself is nice and certainly appreciated. They have a bit too much a show off attitude in my view. Others did it more spantaneously, I think.

Such a nice thing to do for the people. I must say, no matter how some people feel about the Yorks. Their hearts are in the right place. Thank you.

    1. Refreshing to read some positive comments about Sarah. On another "Royal" site/blog, she is criticised left, right and center with some or the comments being very ugly. She may not be perfect like us but for me, I just can't help but like her. Bravo dear Duchess Sarah and please, please, just stay as you are.
p.s. my thoughts go out also to these front line workers who are doing such an important job and putting their own lives at risk. Thank you to them.

I just read that both of Eugenie’s in laws have COVID-19, her father-in-law (age 71) is in the hospital, mother-in-law (age 66) is at home. I think they must feel even more connected and appreciative to those giving care. It is a great way to encourage those working and those who feel helpless.

Very nice indeed, I just wonder why did they show up in their pajamas?

Probably because millions and millions of people around the world are suddenly finding that they are spending their entire day now in pyjamas. For the moment, these two are just like everyone else. Kind of them to deliver prepackaged, boxed food to healthcare workers.

Nor now or then fashiion didn't come first or has been the most important thing for Fergie as it seems for others, indeed.
What a lovely and caring gesture from Fergie and Eugenie. ❤

  6. It's a beautiful and heartfelt gesture, and I'm sure it meant a lot to those healthcare workers.

Chalk one up for "down to earth." :D

Nice gesture, but I would think Healthcare workers would want a nutrious hot meal, not snack food.

    1. Well, delicious German Christmas cakes and "Aachener Printen".

    2. Anonymous 3:16, I am sure that every now and then they also like a snack!

    3. The 'snack' food appears to be a donation from the makers. Everyone needs a treat at this time and it is lovely to see the family with encouraging smiles.

@Elizabeth 2:20pm: What makes you say that it appears to be a donation from the makers? Why couldn't Fergie and Eugenie have bought all the items by the same maker? Just curious.

Studies show that a cynical, negative, and complaining attitude has a negative impact on your health, thus it would probably be wise for all of us to stay positive and compassionate, especially in times like these. 🙂

Nice gesture, lovely smiles! And spring in the air. 🌷

    1. It's highly possible about what you say on negative attitudes having an impact on your health. And if this is the case, the critics of the Duchess Sarah on another "Royal" site/blog must be having some pretty bad trouble with their health.

Eugenie looks very good without makeup, she should cut down on her makeup on other occasions, ahe does not need it

Such a kind thing to do;and all to support those who are helping us all. The Queen would be proud.

    1. Without question and without hesitation, the Queen would be pleased with what the Duchess of York is doing. But no matter what good work the Duchess did/does, Prince Philip would never change his opinion of "Fergie".
