Crown Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands celebrates her 22nd birthday today. Catharina-Amalia Beatrix Carmen Victoria, Princess of Orange, the eldest daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima, was born on December 7, 2003, in The Hague. She is first in line to the Dutch throne. On her 18th birthday, the Princess of Orange automatically became a member of the Council of State and its Advisory Division.
To mark the occasion, the Government Information Service (RVD) released a new photo of Princess Catharina-Amalia. The photo was taken when she attended the accession ceremony of Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie. At the event, Princess Amalia wore a cranberry-colored satin crepe midi dress by Alex Perry.

i would prefer a new photo a bit more "royal "with tiara and gown for the next Queen regnant.
