On Tuesday, June 24, 2025 (Reiwa 7), Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako hosted a tea party at the Imperial Palace for the recipients of the 2024 Japan Art Academy Prize and the newly appointed members of the Academy. Crown Prince Akishino, Crown Princess Kiko, Princess Aiko, and Princess Kako were also in attendance.
The Japan Art Academy is Japan’s highest-ranking official institution for the arts. Each year, the Japan Art Academy confers the Imperial Prize and the Japan Art Academy Prize on individuals outside the Academy who have produced outstanding works of art or have made significant contributions to the advancement of the arts.
All those pretty pastel colours. I see P Kako looks lovely in her dress. P Aiko I like her suit, but I am thinking perhaps if the jacket closed alittle higher it would not look like it is sitting on her waist. I know it is designed that way but when I see the position it is just slightly out of proportion with the skirt. Blue is a pretty colour for her.
