  1. Lady Louise is a for sure a nice and friendly girl, but I always feel a bit disappointed when I see pictures. And I think it comes from her hair or clothing style, here it of course a sport event so hair style is not so important.

Definitely not age appropriate the whole style and it is the same with the event - I can´t see any peers.

    2. Age appropriate? Everything about this is age appropriate, her clothes and the event. Perhaps she is a fan of the sport, and she looks to be enjoying herself. As well, she is not in the public eye much, so I cannot imagine Sophie bringing her to an event in which she didn't want to come.

  2. More great photos. Especially lovely to see Lady Louise active as opposed to just watching and clearly enjoying herself.

Sophie Wessex looks very young for her age (55). You can see that it can be done without artificially extended hair. Very well.

Louise, a lovely young woman, wish they would allow her more freedom to choose her own style of clothing.

I think she is for the most part. Not every teen is fashion savy just like a lot grown women don't seem to have the ability to know what looks good on them or the best haircut, makeup, etc. We've all seen or know some woman who's still wearing the same haircut from two decades ago regardless of the fact that it no longer looks good on her. Friends, family, will suggest an upgrade or makeover but, nope, they stick with their mulet. LOL. Princess Ann has been wearing the same hairstyle (and some clothes) since the late 1970s. So there you go; maybe it's in the genes. :)

    2. Agree that some of her clothes choices don't seem the best but today's outfit is entirely appropriate. Not really sure what else she could have worn.

Nobody is to blame for shure, Lady Louise is still very young.
Actually we can not see a joy of learning, discovering and testing oneself? If she is not interest in the whole thing or not aware of it than it is necessary that somebody tells her. She should get the chance to learn that fashion is fun - maybe she does already.

Practice makes perfect. Nice to see a mother and daughter outing. Nice warm coats. I like lady Louise hair up.

  7. En tenue adéquate, Louise est une sympathique jeune fille qui a su s'amuser au cours de cette rencontre !

  8. I can't understand how Sophie an apparently lovely woman can go out on any official capacity with a plastic hair clip, it's irrelevant whether is an sporting event, most women use these clips to get the hair out of their faces while removing makeup... they are beyond ugly. A simple pony tail shouldn't be that difficult to manage.
I was reading on a previous post about Meghan's horrible hair, well, compared to these pictures she is a portrait of sophistication. BTW I Hold no animosity towards the countess, I find her public appearances very warm and engaging, but this wasn't a mother going to see her children's game, she was there on an official capacity... the clip needs to go.

It's just a hair clip. I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out.

    2. I reacted to her hair as well, but not because of the plastic hair clip but because of the ways she used it. Those cheap hair clips aren´t especially stylish but it is perfectly possible to use them and achieve a very neat updo. Sophie´s hairstyle here is everything but. Messy, no effort, no style. She looks like she just got up from hours of lounging on a couch.

    3. I agree about the comment : "It's just a hair clip. I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out" I think an hair clip can give a softer hair style than a pony tail, so to me it is ok. BTW a pony tail might have been better for L Louise as well. About Louise I also agree on : "Perfect outfit for a young lady for the occasion".

While the hair clip is unfortunate, it certainly would never make Meghan's messy hair "sophistication".

When you are a Royal, a simple, ordinary hair clip at a sporting event is an important and easy way to make others around you feel comfortable and at ease; It also says 'I'm not really all that different from anyone else. I may be 'Royalty' now, but I wasn't before and I still value practical things.'
(But I agree that she could have used it better. But who knows what she was doing before she arrived at the event).

Lady Louise looks a bit like her cousin Harry. Very nice young girl. I like her pants very much and they for sure are her own style of clothing.

Lady Louise is evidently not an average teenage girl in average teenage clothes with average teenage makeup and hairdo - and so on. So maybe one should see and judge her in her own terms ... I mean, according to her most probably self-chosen priorities and not in terms of an average girl of her age. Moreover, this time she is dressed much more conforming to that image of an "average teenage girl". She had quite a disfiguring eye condition as a child, I am happy to see that she feels free now to publicly show herself and even laugh in public. She is special, in my humble opinion. (Ann.)

Yes, you are right. This hairstyle is not successful. But I'm convinced that if Sophie reads these critical comments, she wouldn't collapse out of them, and perhaps she would take some lessons from criticism. Sophie's fans also do not regard criticism of her outfit as a personal attack or rudeness and do not blame critics for hate speech.

They both look great and are well dressed for the occasion. My only quibble is the plastic hair clip on C. Sophie.

If you remember how Sophie used to dress before Catherine became a royal, her appearance here (including the cheap plastic hair clip) shouldn’t coat a surprise. I think Sophie, unlike Catherine (or the Middleton clan) doesn’t put the same value on external appearance. She gave it a minimal effort. She went on engagements before Williams’s wedding and looked as ‘stylish’ as she does here. It’s who she is. She may have put in extra effort for a while, but it’s not something she values as much. From my perspective, no judgment. I won’t say it’s good or bad. I for one would have tried slightly harder. But that’s me.
