Princess Marie Attends 'Wreaths Across the Alliance' Memorial Ceremony

On December 8, 2025, Princess Marie of Denmark attended the “Wreaths Across the Alliance” memorial ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington. During the commemoration, the Princess gave a speech in honor of fallen allies and those who have served and sacrificed alongside American forces.

Princess Marie attended the ceremony together with Brigadier General Prince Joachim and Denmark’s Defence Attaché Karsten “KAJ” Jensen, alongside ambassadors and representatives from allied nations. During the event, a memorial wreath was laid at the Military Women’s Memorial, and personal wreaths were also presented to the allied nations, which will adorn their embassies throughout the Christmas season.
