    1. I agree. It’s a wonderful event and P. Catherine looks elegant, poised, and happy. The coat is certainly one of her best. (V.M.)

    2. Agree. Kate looks great in that elegant coat dress - the whole family looks wonderful. Charlotte and Kate in similar colours. And they have the support of the family.
I am not so sure about Eugenie's coat - doesn't look flattering.

  2. Catherine does look stunning, as do all the others at this event. They all look so happy and content in their celebration of Christmas and the Queen's life. The royal family is indeed united.

  3. Sono tutti incantevoli, ma Catherine è sublime. Il modello dell’abito-cappotto è quello che le dona di più, bello anche il coordinamento di colori della sua famiglia.

    1. According to another site, Prince Edward was home with their son, James. James wasn’t feeling well + naturally needed one of his parents there with him, so Sophie, Countess of Wessex came along in honour of supporting Catherine, Princess of Wales,+ to pay respect + tribute to her late mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II

    2. It looks like there was a great turn out from various members of the Royal Family, all coming together in unity to show support to the Princess of Wales, Catherine. What a spectacular celebration to honour + remember our late Queen Elizabeth II as well as showing gratitude to the selfless efforts of communities throughout the U.K., highlighting the importance of coming together to support one another. Never could a more poignant message be needed to echo throughout the U.K given the barrage of unfounded tawdry comments from across the pond. The Wales family look splendid in their coordinated outfits of burgundy + navy. George has grown exponentially in the past three months. He seems to be almost at his moms shoulders + Catherine is a tall woman. I imagine it was a nice escape to be able to sit back + relax + enjoy the festivities, especially for King Charles III + Queen Consort Camilla, who have been under more pressure of late with the undertakings of being the Reigning Monarchs now. I love the colour + style of coat that Charlotte was wearing, as well as Zara’s. I’m glad Sophie, Countess of Wessex was able to make it, given her husband Prince Edward wasn’t able to attend due to other circumstances. I look forward to watching the televised concert on Christmas Eve. I hope it’s received in good spirits by all.

  10. The plum coat dress is a gorgeous color on Kate. And what fun that Charlotte's coat and William's tie stylishly match! Not much of a fan of Eugenie's coat but she looks very pretty. Overall everyone looks wonderful and it looks like a happy event. MD

The others gathering for this special time as well, just wonderful, joy-filled smiles all around.
On the fashion front loving the Wales’ family look, the creams of QC Camilla and CoWessex Sophie (great camel boots). Only quibble was Pr. Eugenie’s coat- love the tartan but the size looks too big and not flattering.
While not royals, the Middleton family (not pictured) looked great too.

Beatrice, Zara and Sophie also look so lovely. Not fond of Eugenie's coat, it makes her look pregnant (if she is, warm congratulations to the family!).
I like seeing the smiles and closeness. Hope they can be together with their loved ones and enjoy the holidays.
May the true spirit of Christmas shine in our hearts and light our paths.

  36. A photo of the Princess of Wales’ mother, Mrs Middleton ?
Try the following link. You will need to scroll down to the second photo.
She is wearing a full length burgundy coat (I think it's a coat). Her father is in the photo and I think it is her sister, Pippa, who is there also.
    Enjoy.

  37. What a festive event with a tribune to the late queen, but also to pay tribute to all the invited volunteers who do their valuable work behind the screens in a selfless way like the former queen did. They all look great and elegant. Although I love the coat of Eugenie it looks a bit strange with the belt so high. Maybe I missed something? Is she pregnant?

  39. Have just read that the Princess of Wales’ (Kate) ensemble for the carol service is from the London fashion house of Catherine Walker. Although French, Catherine Walker made her fame (and fortune ?) in the fashion industry in London. She has a list of notable royal clients.
Princess Diana was a (very) regular client. Kate's mother and sister are amongst her notable clients of today.
Unfortunately, Catherine Walker died in 2010 from breast cancer at the age of 65.
The fashion house is carried on today by her second husband and possibly by her two daughters (not confirmed).

  43. Lately, I find myself increasingly liking royals who carry out their duties with dignity, modestly: Countess Sophie, Duchess Birgitte of Gloucester, Princess Alexandra, Princess Anne, but of course Kate - Princess of Wales. Key to this dignity is the advice that Prince Philip once gave: If you want to be useful, don't talk about yourself.

  44. The winner for me is Beatrice. Like her coat best. Sophie also looks very nice.

At odds with everyone, I am not a huge fan of this colour coordination exhibition on the Wales gang.

Carole’s coat seems to fit her way better than the one she picked last year (that one was engulfing her in an almost ridiculous way). Pippa gets points for a repeat of the coat she wore a few days back.

Zara looks very fit, seems the time spent in the Australian sunshine worked well for her.

Camilla also looks good, in her usual coat style.

    What can one Say?
Subdued, efforless, timeless elegance all around with burgundy as a leading colour.
Princess Kate was a marvellous host to this event schemed and executed to perfection.
So nice to see the colour coordination in Catherine's, Charlotte's and Pippa's ensembles.
    Men look very dapper too.
I have seen a few videos on YouTube featuring Catherine' thanking both children and adults ahead of the celebration.
She always looks as a born royal lady.
A touching tribute to the late Queen and the British people at the same time.
So nice to see the close bond of genuine affection between the Waleses and the reigning Monarch and the Queen Consort.
This is the best answer to ...uhm... any kind of misery.
