Lovely casual outfit for CPss Mary today. The holidays are over work is calling again.

  2. Crown Princess Mary just looks fantastic all the time! She must be naturally photogenic, along with always having just the right smile.

I love her outfit, dressy yet casual. The runners were a nice surprise for me and actually go good with it and she can walk comfortably. Nice colors all around. Mary almost always looks very good and stylish. /Julie/

  7. Must be cool in Rotterdam. She looks very nice in her sweater, maxi skirt and sneakers. I agree with you, Cynthia, her smile is always just right.

I like this look from the waist up, but do not care for anything waist down.

  9. Agree with you, Maggie. The skirt and clumpy trainers does not look at all appealing. Crown Princess Mary is usually so smart. If she needed comfortable shoes to walk around the city why not pair with jeans or trousers or even long shorts? Alternativewly sandals with the skirt. A rare Mary "miss" in my opinion.

Princess Mary looks lovely in this outfit. Casual look suits her well. She has such a lovely sunny disposition. What an asset she is to her Prince, she always seems so proactive and gets on with the job!

  11. The look could be perfect with other shoes or boots. She is one of the best dressed royals but I really don't understand her choise this time

    1. The shoes are perfect for this occasion: she is in barn walking on dust and dirt. MB

  12. This is quite a different look for Mary; I'm a little surprised but of course she is a lady who looks lovely in everything. That said, the sweater isn't a good color for her. As for the trainers, I agree that they would look much better paired with trousers. However, I like that these are a bit less klunky-looking than some we've seen on royals -- AND they are color-coordinated with the top, which I think is evidence of Mary's desire to make the best of a wardrobe dilemma (could even be the reason for going with that particular sweater :-).
