At least they are there together with the people of their country which cannot be said from every royal couple. The way Queen Mathilde is dressed is not important on the national mourning day. MJ

Great look for the Queen. Love the hat and swirls in the back.

I agree. In Belgian press, there's a full view picture from the side when she's listening to children: just gorgeous, the dress.
And most importantly: they spent a lot of time listening to people, supporting people, talking to children. Mathilde was very considerate and compassionate (as always).

For me, this dress does not flatter nor fit Mathilde well. But I like her head band/hat.

  6. I like the classic black-and-white look and the simplicity of the cut. Mathilde looks very polished. However, I don´t think that the dress is flattering for her. The proportions look wrong on her, the waist is too high, the bodice too tight.
And in any case, I think the dress had been nicer with a lower neckline and some cap sleeves.

  7. What a beautiful look for Mathilde. That dress is beautiful, and tailored perfectly. I like the headband hat, not overwhelming. I have absolutely loved her style lately.

Mathilde at her very best: love the hairdo and the ring in stead of a to formal hat, love the dress: summery and still very adequate for the occasion,

  10. Nice dress, I wonder whether no belt wouldn't be better for her.
