What a beautiful celebration. I like the different colors and patterns in Ingrid’s bunad. The memories of working on the design with her grandmother are to be treasured. I like how in the picture with her godparents- she is holding her grandparents hands. Great pictures. Ingrid looks beautiful.

Fashion wise- I love the periwinkle dress on Victoria. The sheer shelves are beautiful. I love Mary’s Zimmerman dress. it is a great rewear. I like went I can see if her hair, makeup and headband. The bunad’s are all beautiful.

  3. Wonderful traditional bunader, they all look so lovely, and I cannot think of any outfit that is so down-to-earth charming and festively elegant at the same time.
Victoria got it so very right this time, she looks beautiful yet simple enough to not steel the show. Mary maybe had a similar approach but her outfit is bland, boring and doesn´t live up to the occasion. Slight nighty-vibe as well, and I don´t like her peep-toe shoes either.
Nice to see Christian make his debut outside of Denmark; this is a great occasion to introduce him to the royal stage: it´s an official occasion with lots of high-ranking attendees, yet has a family feel to it with lots of young people there (many of whom he might know already).
Felipe looks great as always. I assume that he is Ingrid-Alexandra´s godparent (like Victoria, and Fredrik as well I think).

    1. I agree with Anon that Mary's Zimmerman dress looks great, and it fits her very well.
Mary is elegant and beautyful as always. Nice to see prins Christian too. He has grown up to be a handsome young man. His parents ca be proud of him. I like the dress on Viktoria as well. Very beautiful. All the bunads are wonderful and beautiful , and all the royal men look great in their uniforms.

As far as I understand there is no Olaf or Sven in the photos. So who do you mean?

    3. Olaf and Sven - two characters from the animated Frozen movie. They are for some reason in one of the photos, namely the first one of the luncheon photos, where Haakon and Mette-Marit are shown arriving. I only saw the two characters once someone pointed them out (I guess I was too focused on the outfits to notice). Funny in any case.

The bunads are simply magnificent. I adore the Norwegian royals in general. Victoria looks lovely. Somehow, I’m not feeling Mary’s look.

What a beauty she is.What a nice and happy occasion for the young Pss.Love the national dress, she looked great wearing it. The godparents are all there at this important moment in her life.Love Victoria's dress not too keen on the headpiece, seems a bit too small maybe I am wrong. Mary looked great. The men in their uniforms looked Wow and lots of hardware on it. Great occasion.

    1. Ingrid Alexandra is a stunning young lady. She looks superb in her traditional outfit. What a fantastic family celebration and how great to have all her godparents there. Lovely to see Marius Holby back with the family again too. I like Crown Princess Mary's outfit--and isn't Prince Christian an extremely handsome young man too--but Crown Princess Victoria's blue outfit is just perfect. She looks amazing. One of these happy occasions that it's just a privilege to see.

Victoria knew that all Norwegians guests will be wearing red, white and black bunads, so choosing a blue dress is a little attention seeking in my opinion. Crown Princess Marys white and pink choice is a lot more dignified.

Victoria will be a Queen one day, she can get a bit attention. To me it looks this royal group is beyond things like someone looking attention etc. They are lifelong friends and family. Victoria looks like a real godmother.

I felt the opposite was true. By staying away from the red/white/black colors, CP Victoria did not stand out, but instead was a well dressed participant. Anne

This is simply a wonderful family celebration. You can just feel the love amongst all of them, and it spreads to us looking at the photos. So nice as well to see the other royals attending who are Ingrid's godparents, as well as her own family - parents, aunt, brothers and of course her wonderful grandparents who support her so much through her life. She is a beautiful young teenager, and I hope this shuts-up those making horrid comments a few days ago about her being an unsmiling teen.

As far as fashion goes, the traditional bunads are really beautiful and all those wearing them look fantastic. I like both Victoria and Mary very much as well - colours, softer dress styles and also headwear. To me, both of them look stylish and beautiful for being out of the limelight. I also think it is the perfect occasion to have Prince Christian attend. His path to the throne is similar to Ingrids, and soon he will be experiencing similar ceremonies of his own as well.
    Congratulations to all of them!

I've been waiting for this day for so long now. She is so beautiful! Now we'll just have to wait another three years for her to wear a tiara on her head :D
