Prince Joachim and Princess Marie got a new pet dog

This summer, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie got a new pet dog called Cerise. Royal family shared 3 photos in which they pose with the new family member on their official Instagram account. The dog is a "Bichon Frise" of Danish descent and its name is "Cerise". Cerise means cherry in Danish and thus, Danish royal family carries on the tradition of naming their dogs after a fruit. The family's former dog was named Apple.

  2. This pup is even cuter than a baby panda -- and I didn't think anything was cuter than a baby panda.

  3. Trop craquant... Sur le moment, j'ai cru que c'était un "Bichon maltais » ; ils se ressemblent beaucoup !!!

  4. Cerise is cherry in French not Danish.

  5. Is this a fashion blog or what now? It seems that the stories and photos are more and more pointless. I'm thinking it is time to stop following this blog.

    1. Same thoughts here, Cynthia. It once was an interesting and educating fashion blog. I liked it to come here during a coffee break, see beautiful clothes, get to know new brands, inform myself on the seasons fashion trends, hear a little bit about what the Royal Ladies are doing as I don't follow the Yellow Press. There were interesting discussions about styles, which style suits the royals ladies and why. Now I find most of the time I waste my time. It's more and more pointless as you say.

Well ... the dog is "wearing" a lovely white, all natural, fur pelt. I know some frown upon the wearing of fur but I think Cerise wears it very well ... not unlike Queen Margareth when she wears her fur wraps.

There! Now it's about the fashion.

I have to say I disagree here: a pure fashion blog without any other royal bits of news — tiny or big — would be boring and pointless. These kind of small but positive news are a fine spice for the blog.

    4. Actually, whatever the blog owner (in this case Hellen Electra) wishes to include is her own choice. I am very happy that she includes general Royal news, particularly because Hellen always has the best pictures. If you want fashion only, why not start your own blog?

Cynthia: No it isn't, it is NEW My Royals
Beth criticized months ago and said she would not comment any more, but still here and doing it
An updated New My Royals has become the best about female royalty, including the Queens and HRHs
There are many about only fashion to follow…… just saying❗

    8. I am also more interested in general news (not provocative nor sensation gossiping of course) about royals. Only fashion would be boring. This blog prevents me from having to go to several blogs. I am a satisfied contributor.

    9. I think that a pure fashion blog with royals is a little bit oldish. The royals do so much more than just look good and have beautiful clothes. The world has changed and people's consumption opinions have changed. It doesn't feel good no more to see them having new clothes everyday when we really should waste less. I'm very glad to read about different things what the royals are doing and I'm very glad that they are showing their humanity also. Thank you Hellen for showing us many kinds of things of royal life.
