Thematic dressing some right. Talk about a cool drink of water.
ReplyDeleteThematic dressing *done* right. (Oops)
DeleteCP Victoria chose a lovely, watery print to fit this occasion and she looks very nice in it. It's a good fit, pleasing length and I love the "icy" earrings and clutch purse accents. Even the armholes have a beautiful watery curve to them - a nice touch!
ReplyDeleteI don't know when was the last time that I saw Victoria shine so beautifuly! This dress is great on her - in cut and colour! I don't like the shoes very much but this is at minor importance by todays look.
ReplyDeleteThe middle part of her hair suits her...it makes her look like her younger self. It's a nice change from the usual pulled back hair. The same cannot be said about the back of it.

totally agree ...
DeleteI love this dress on her. She looks like a mermaid, who climbed right out of the sea, ready to explore the city! And those beautiful earrings!
ReplyDeleteAgree, she looks just WOW!
DeleteWooah, I love this dress!
ReplyDeleteStunning !
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful dress for a Water Prize Award Ceremony!
ReplyDeleteStunning dress, awful shoes.
ReplyDeleteLove the thematic dress and statement earrings. The color looks great on her. Like the switch from a off- centered to a center part for her updo.

Superb! What a beautiful print and style for presenting the Water Prize. It looks like it was made only for her. This Crown Princess knows she looks good. Well done! /Julie/
ReplyDeleteStunning!! Her best look ever! She is a very beautiful woman but doesn't focus on dressing, which I understand, it's not the most important thing. But wow! The color and cut are perfect! Really dazzling!
ReplyDeleteFabulous dress. It's not often that I see Victoria's outfits and just go "Wow!" but this is amazing and so appropriate for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Crown Princess Victoria could have dressed more appropriately. In fact, I think it was genius of her to select this gown and those earrings for this event. The gown is a gorgeous watery, glimmering print, and the shimmering earrings are like droplets of water and very much a surprise accessory for her. Well done!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, then I feel I am the only one who dislikes this outfit. It is overwhelming. Sorry about this. Especially in combination with the shoes!!!, earrings, hairstyle... (She really should loosen her beautiful hair on some occasions.)
ReplyDeleteActually I am not a fan of her hair or the shoes. I think she is such a pretty woman and the hair style is so severe. Her sister Madeline understands when she wears her hair half up or half down. It is a much softer look. I am not a fan of the shoes either. But I have to admit I am crazy for that dress and it looks amazing on her. The fact that someone has a differing opinion is not wrong. We all aren't likely to like the same things all the time.

DeleteSpectacular dress! Truly an inspired choice. It is so beautifully flattering to Victoria that the earrings and the shoes (not a fan of either) don't put a significant dent in the fabulousness.
ReplyDeleteJ'aime la robe mais je trouve que les sandales noires ne vont pas avec celle-ci. ni avec le sac d'ailleurs.
ReplyDeleteLovely and flattering dress, except for the length. IMO it is too long. And I would deep 6 the shoes.
ReplyDeleteUnmatching accessories and a hideous print. A very try hard look in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteJosie
Jolie robe mais un peu plus courte pour mieux voir des chaussures blanches assorties à la pochette serait très élégante !!!
ReplyDeleteI like how she glows, her makeup makes her eyes shine!
ReplyDeleteThe cut of this dress its perfect on her, she really looks good IMO.
I love the silhouette of this dress on Victoria. I do think the bodice needs tayloring. If this dress was not for the Stockholm Junior Water Prize, I would hate the print. Since it does look like water, I think it works here, but would probably get a thumbs down from me in the future just because of the print. I would like to see it in a solid color, with a better fitting bodice. The length of the skirt is off as well. It should either come up several inches or be floor length. I would prefer to see it midi length. Sadly, her shoes do not work with the dress at all. I don't like her earrings, and they do not match the very simple bracelets she is wearing. Her bag is yet one more mis-matched accessory thrown into the mix. I think if she did not wear her hair pulled back every day, she would have made a statement with her hair since it has been done for her and has been done well. I am hoping Victoria knows the simple lines of this dress were flattering to her and we will see more changes to her wardrobe in the future.
ReplyDeleteWell said. Fully agree on all points.
ReplyDeleteCrown Princess Victoria looks beautiful in this dress. It fits her well and it shows off her figure quite nicely. She's always on the go and it's good to see her wearing something in which
ReplyDeleteher personality shine through. Her earings are different but she wears them well. She has a good life with her husband and children and it shows in how happy she is.
A very nice look for Victoria - love the dress and the earrings are wonderful. If she must have a tight chignon then I think the centre parting is quite flattering. I don't think the colour of the shoes work particularly well but I don't mind the style.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely dress on Victoria. It looks like the sun reflect on the water. Just right for this event. Nice earrings too.
ReplyDeleteAlways the same boring old fashioned hairstyle, urrgh. I can't understand why.
ReplyDeleteBecause she likes it, end of story.
