Crown Princess Mary visited Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen

Danish Crown Princess Mary visited the Department of Cardiology at Copenhagen Rigshospitalet (The National, State or Kingdom Hospital) and afterwards, presented 2018 research awards of Danish Heart Association (Hjerteforeningen) with a ceremony held at Hotel d'Angleterre in Copenhagen. Crown Princess Mary is the patron of Danish Heart Association which is the second biggest patient organization of Denmark.

Spanish Royals attended 2018 board of trustees meeting of Cervantes Institute

On October 08, 2018, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain attended the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of Cervantes Institute at Madrid Aranjuez Royal Palace. After the meeting, the King and the Queen gave a lunch for the Board of Trustees of Cervantes Institute and Ibero-American Ambassadors who are accredited in Spain. Cervantes Institute was established in 1991 and is a public body which aims to promote and teach Spanish language and spread Spanish and Latin American cultures. The Board of Trustees directs the activities of the Institute.

Swedish Royal Family visited Pau city of France

Swedish Royal Family, that is, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended celebrations in Pau city of France, held in connection with the 200th anniversary of Bernadotte dynasty's accession to the throne. The day began with the inauguration of renovated Bernadotte Museum. The Royal Family then attended a reception held at Pau municipality building. In the afternoon, King Carl Gustaf plant an oak tree at Beaumont Park where his grandfather, Oscar II planted a magnolia on April 11, 1899. The Earl and Countess of Wessex visit to Estonia, 2nd day

On the second day of their visit to Estonia, the Earl and Countess of Wessex lays a wreath in remembrance of the British Royal Navy Soldiers who lost their lives in the conflict – an intervention that played a key role in Estonia’s independence. The Countess of Wessex hosted Oscar U-17 Girls Football Team

On October 5, 2018, The Countess of Wessex hosted OSCAR Foundation's U-17 girls football team at the Windsor Castle in Berkshire. The Indian Under-17 Women's football team is comprised of girl players from Mumbai slums and rural parts of Jharkhand. The Organization for Social Change Awareness and Responsibility (OSCAR) Foundation has used football to address community issues in the Ambedkar Nagar slum, Mumbai since 2006.
