King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited Jokkmokk Fair

On Thursday, February 6, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited Jokkmokk Fair in northern Sweden, held in connection with the Sami National Day. The King and Queen met with members of the Sami Parliament's Board and Bureau. Jokkmokk Fair has a long history and is an unbroken tradition for more than 400 years. The King and Queen also visited the Sami Educational Center. There, the King and Queen toured a student exhibition made by the second-year students of the craft group. The center was founded in 1942 and has since then provided education to the Sami people.

Prince Albert hosted a 60th anniversary party for the Monte-Carlo TV Festival at Sunset Tower Hotel

On February 5, 2020, Prince Albert II of Monaco hosted a 60th anniversary party for the Monte-Carlo TV Festival at Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, California. Prince Albert's daughter, Jazmin Grace Grimaldi were also present at the party. The Monte-Carlo Television Festival was founded in 1961 by Prince Rainier III as a tribute to his wife Princess Grace.

New official photos of Dutch Royal Family were released

Yesterday, new official photos of King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima, Princess Margriet and Prof. Pieter van Vollenhoven were released on the website of the Dutch Royal House. The photos were taken in Amsterdam Palace last month.

The Duchess of Cornwall visited HMP Downview Prison

The Duchess of Cornwall visited HMP Downview and met with staff and prisoners. The Duchess also received information about the rehabilitation programmes carried out in the prison. The prison is one of only 12 female prisons in the UK. The Duchess also visited the Max Spielmann Academy, which is an onsite shop where prisoners in HMP Downview receive training about up-to-date photographic industry techniques.
