King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the award ceremony of Cervantes Prize

The King presented the Miguel de Cervantes Prize to Joan Margarit at Albeniz Palace

On December 21, 2020, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain presented the 2019 Miguel de Cervantes Prize for Literature in the Spanish Language to Joan Margarit at Albeniz Palace in Barcelona. Joan Margarit was born on May 11, 1938 in Sanaüja and he is a Spanish poet, architect and retired professor. Most of his work is written in the Catalan language.

The jury has awarded the prize to Joan Margarit for 'his poetic work of deep transcendence and lucid language which is always innovative, and because he has enriched both the Spanish and the Catalan language and represented both of the cultures in a universal dimension of great mastery'. The prize includes a monetary amount of €125,000 and honors the lifetime achievement of an outstanding writer.

    1. I agree, sometimes uneven hemlines don't work, but here is does because the dress is so minimalistic. Beautiful and tailoring is perfect. The beautiful city background is stunning!
