    2. Human lifespan is 80-90 years...if we are lucky. Royalty has been around for thousands of years and many of whom we have never seen. No one can logically say anyone is the most beautiful ever!

  4. The photo of the children is lovely. Madeleine is lovely no matter what she wears but don't think this is an especially flattering dress. If the family is staying in Florida for Christmas, given travel restrictions, it will be a bit different temperature wise than Stockholm.

  5. Gorgeous photos of Madeleine and the children. Madeleine sure is a beauty. She wears that dress far better than the model. I prefer it as an informal beach dress and I'm not a fan of the (very) high Empire style waist. I suppose it could double as a maternity dress as well.

  6. This dress is better suited as a barefoot-on-the-beach dress than as the model has it styled. Madeleine looks beautiful, as she always does. Lovely photo of the kids.

  7. Princess Madeleine is very beautiful woman but there's also something charismatic about her. Seeing her is always so nice.
Leonore and Nicolas have grown so much. I remember their christening like it was only yesterday ;)
    Thanks for the update 🌹🌹🌹

  9. Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?
    Opps, sorry ..........
I'll have to get back to you later as I can't find the envelope to open.
Maybe it got thrown out with all the Christmas wrappings.
Just a small Chrissy, technical problem.

  11. Nothing like an impromptu photo session on the beach just casually throwing your head back and oh.., look at that, you just caught my best side.

    1. too funny! I had the same thoughts. Oh, I'll go barefoot in this dress across my own private little bridge to the ocean. See me, I'm walking, I'm walking some more, then I'm standing at the ocean looking reflective, now I'll throw my head back and laugh as, I lean backwards, looking with my good side to a paid photographer so you can all see I am still beautiful. What, my children? Oh yes, take a few of them and the dog as well. Sorry to all those who will get their feathers ruffled, but this series of photos is so 'look at me' and not about Christmas, or anything else.

    2. What's your problem Anonymous? There's lots of envy in your comments.
You don't have best side, no matter how hard you pose in front of the photographer? Princess Madeleine photograps very well. She's still very attractive woman despite nearing her 40s and after having 3 kids. I'd say she's even more alluring than in her 20s. Bernadotte sisters age very well.

    3. What's YOUR problem Robert? Congenital sense of humour failure with an added dollop of plain nastiness - how dare you make personal comments about someone's looks when you haven't even met them?

Nobody said she wasn't a good looking woman, can see absolutely no signs of envy towards her at all in the comment. It was a tongue in cheek comment about some obviously posed photos. Get off your high horse and crawl back under your rock!

  12. wow - freedom of speech is missing on this blog. Posted something earlier, it was 'tongue in cheek' post and its not been posted.

  13. Princess Madeleine on the beach, barefoot, with warm and engaging smile on her face, stormy ocean in the backround...what a beautiful sight! Makes me want to go on the beach. Just be, relax and let all the stress go out of me after this stormy year.
I feel sorry for everyone who's been unable to travel to their loved ones this year. SPending Christmas apart was the hardest. But lets hope that this will soon be over and we will be back to our normal everyday lives!

  14. Anonymous @ 8:45, this is called a photo session and that is what the photographer asks the subject to do, perhaps not too original, but I don’t think that it proves that she is “ all about me”. Obviously I don’t know her, and perhaps you do. Your comment tries too hard to be funny, but really it isn’t, come across like juvenile petty criticism.

    1. No, you just don't have a sense of humour. Even if you don't find the comment funny perhaps you should stop analysing the motives behind people's comments.

  16. Christmas cards are about family. Madeleine has children, a husband, a dog or maybe two, maybe a cat or gold fish. I feel the 'tongue in cheek' assessment was hilarious! It was not envy, not was it mean, just 'tongue in cheek' funny. In my opinion, it was sad she did not take photos of her family. She had a couple of some of the children, in one section on this blog, and in another post there was a photo of all three of the children, but none of the family all together. If you look at all the other royal families, they are 'together' as a family unit, even though some may be distanced due to COVID, they are all in the same photo.

    1. Says the highly mature and humourless poster who is insulting other commentators. Pot ,why don't you go have a chat with the kettle?

As we say in all the best mean girl circles.

    1. Totally unoriginal yourself, humourless and unpleasant as well. Why don't you do one?

Continuing with my unoriginal unfunny (not meant to be funny, I'm being serious BTW) theme - why don't you stick your head where the sun don't shine? Please do it in as original and comical fashion as possible.
