Today, on October 17, 2019, Crown Princess Victoria visited Swedish Plastic Recycling, which is Europe's largest sorting plant for plastic packaging located in Motala. Crown Princess Victoria arrived in Iceland to attend the Arctic Circle Assembly 2019 held on October 11-13 in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. The Arctic Circle is the largest network of international dialogue and cooperation carried out for the future of the Arctic. The annual Arctic Circle Assembly is the largest annual international meeting relating to the Arctic. More than 2000 participants from 60 countries attend the Assembly which is held every October at the Harpa Conference Center in Reykjavík, Iceland. Queen Rania of Jordan visited Ras El Ain Hangar exhibition in downtown Amman. The exhibition is held in connection with Amman Design Week. During the visit, the Queen viewed indoor installations and designs created by more than 75 local and regional participants who have a background in architecture, fashion design, product design, furniture design and graphic design. This year, Amman Design Week is held for the third time under the theme of “Possibilities”. The design week will continue until October 12 in the three districts of Ras El Ain, Jabal Amman, and Jabal Al Weibdeh.

Yesterday, The Countess of Wessex visited Cheshire to attend the celebration for the 10th anniversary of Brainwave Therapy Centre. Brainwave provides educational and physical therapies to children with disabilities for the purpose of helping them gain greater independence.
