Queen Camilla hosted a reception for the 'Maiden' yachting crew following their Global Ocean Race Win at Clarence House in London. In September 2023, initiated by Tracy Edwards, Maiden embarked on the Ocean Globe Race with the most diverse professional sailing crew ever to sail the world. This month, following over 153 days at sea, Maiden made history becoming the first all-female team to win an around-the-world yacht race.
The Maiden Factor is an all-female ocean racing yacht team and a global ambassador for the empowerment of girls’ education. Aboard the Maiden ocean racing yacht skippered by Tracy Edwards, the Maiden team travels the world, raising awareness and funds for girls' education.

DeleteI’m beginning to think that Camilla has a ‘royal’ refuge for lost and abandoned boots. She brings them in from the cold and gives them a bit of warm and snug time in Clarence House.
They probably go off to Highgrove House for summer whilst waiting a new owner for the next winter season in London.
