On April 4, 2024, Japanese Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko attended the 32nd Global Environment Awards ceremony held at the Meiji Kinenkan Hall in Tokyo. The awards recognize companies and organizations for their efforts and achievements in global warming mitigation and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Mori Building won the grand prize for the rich green spaces and advanced systems installed in its high-rise buildings in central Tokyo. Mori Building opened Toranomon Hills Station Tower in October 2023 and Azabudai Hills in November of the same year. Both incorporate biodiversity-rich green spaces and streams, including rooftop gardens and terraces.

ReplyDeleteHis hair is naturally all grey, which he decided to dye black. I am troubled by women dictating to men what they should do with their facial hair. As long as it is well trimmed, why should it matter? From what I have read here, the main opposition to most facial hair is greying. Unless the same demands are being made of everyone regarding grey hair, that it be removed by shaving, it is best to let the gentlemen enjoy their facial hair as they please. If their wives aren't bothered by it, I can't see why any of us should be. Let's be realistic. No one expects the ladies to remove their grey hair. They can choose to age naturally or color their hair. The gentlemen should have the same options.

Delete@ 19:49 - As far as I can observe, men do not hesitate to comment or give an opinion on women's look (and sometimes not very softly). Perhaps not really on this blog, I even doubt there are few men around here. On other royalty blogs there are some. Do you know that there are now even "relooking services or advice" for men run by women ? Men tend to believe they are best placed to comment on women (they should appeal to them, they say). Why, in the 21st century, shouldn't it be possible for women ?

ReplyDeleteKiko looks lovely in this dusty rose color--glad to see her in another color than white or beige too. The peplum-like detail on the rear of her top or dress (its hard to tell if her outfit is a dress of separates) is an interesting style detail on an otherwise straightforward design.

ReplyDeleteThe crown prince needs a hair cut. The royals all seem to stick to a particular style, but looking at the other men around him, they have neatly trimmed hair in various styles.
