King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia received the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize winner Narges Mohammadi's husband Taghi Rahmani and their children Ali and Kiana Rahmani. Women's rights advocate Narges Mohammadi is in prison in Iran, and is represented by her twin children and their father, who live in exile in Paris.
The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Narges Mohammadi from Iran for her work in "fighting against the oppression of women in Iran". The regime in Iran has arrested Narges 13 times, convicted her 5 times, and sentenced her to a total of 31 years in prison and 154 lashes.

ReplyDeleteSilvia's hair is way too dark for an 80yo woman. I think she would look wonderful with naturally gray hair & the change in makeup that goes with it. I've never seen even a hint of gray roots on her, it must be grueling to always have touch-ups (unless she wears a wig). I applaud the royal ladies who choose to stay gray. |Melanie|
Delete@ Melanie. Queen Silvia's hair is not too dark for her age. I knew several people who had only a bit of grey hair when they died in their eighties or nineties. When she was young she always had thick and healthy hair.
DeleteThe only thing that changed I think is her make-up. She looks paler lately, her lipstick is paler too. There could be a reason for that but she is not going to tell you what it is
Gray hair is making someone's look immediately old, especially women. There is only a little quantity of women who have short gray hair and almost no wrinkles. Usually women who look good with gray hair became gray at a young age (45-60 years old).
Why she would wear a wig ? There is too much wig theory lately
