  1. Nice! First time in a looonnng while that I like what Mette-Marit is wearing. Very flattering, very chic, great colour, and good hair.
I also like the Latvian first lady´s suit. Very chic, too, and actually has a better fit around shoulders and arms than Mette-Marit´s Valentino coat.

  2. Her face looks different but I can not figure out why. I don't think she had a facelift because it would not look that good so soon afterwards. I think maybe some fillers and Botox. Just my opinion. Something is different.

Agree. It's sad really because pretty much all royal women (with the exception of a few) are getting botox/face fillers.
I think you should just let your body age naturally like it's supposed to.

  3. Wow! MM Congratulations! I thought lace is over. And I never thought I would like a red full lace dress. But I do :-))) I forgot that she wore it before, but concerning the prices of Valentino, well, recycling is a good idea. Not so sure for the accessoires, okay, what can you wear with so much red than nude shoes? but the hand bag and the gloves are not good in my opinion. Hair and make-Up are good, good to see MM again. I also like Haakon's matching tie. The first lady of Latvia looks very good too. The light grey suits her, good cut and proportions of the costume, nice hair and make-up too. I enjoyed these pictures. Thanks to the blog owner for providing us with beautiful pictures, I would not have seen otherwise.

    1. Agree - two beautiful Ladies from the North of Europe. Lace all over is not my first choice either, but it works very well for MM. The national banner of Latvia is Red/White. Maybe the protokoll kept that in mind when choosing the outfits (nothing is left by chance during state visits, I am told...)
