On November 1, 2023, Danish Queen Margrethe attended the first rehearsal of Tivoli's upcoming ballet performance "The Snow Queen". It is the eight time that the Queen has been involved in the creation of a ballet performance at Tivoli.
Andersen's fairy tale 'The Snow Queen' (Snedronningen) was reinterpreted in 2019 in collaboration with the Queen, musician Nanna Øland Fabricius (Oh Land) and the award-winning choreographer Yuri Possokhov. For the 8th time, the Queen has taken on the task of set designer and costume designer.
Since I love ballet I would have liked to be there! Hubby and me, we do only latin dance and ballroom.(Better than nothing!)

ReplyDeleteWhen she will decide to do something different with her hair ? It is not her fold that her hair is thin due to age. But a good hairdresser can cut it so that more hair is covering the top of her head and forehead instead of having a lot of hear in the neck. Rose

DeleteDear Rose, I think your comments regarding Queen Margrethe’s hair is unfair. I am sure she is not exactly happy about the situation and has certainly consulted the best Danish hairdressers. I know from good sources that the queen is a very realistic lady regarding age and health issues so that your advice would probably fall on deaf ears.
