During the radio programme named "Summer in P2", the couple spoke about their relationship and the coronavirus pandemic. During the programme, Crown Princess Mette-Marit praised her husband and told how they developed their relationship with the following words: "He saw me. He understood me. He was curious. And he held me." Crown Prince Haakon spoke about his first meeting with Mette-Marit in 1999 and why he fell for her. The Crown Prince said: "The bright southern girl made an impression on me. You notice when Mette enters a room. There is a power there that is not so easy to overlook. And was nice to talk to."

  2. That's how royals should act, talk and behave...
Not by giving insulting interviews and ...joggling in the garden.
There are going to be wonderful King and Queen!!!!
And by the way let's all remember what behaviour Pr.Mette Marit received by press, how she bulied...But she won everyone with her personality, her dignity and her whole attitude..
    See and learn..

    1. @Natassa Nt. "See and learn" ?????
I'm trying to see and trying to learn.
But it would help if you could put a name on the person sho has been giving insulting interviews?
And what's wrong with an unnamed person juggling in his/her garden with whatever he/she wants to juggle with.
If it's their private garden he/she can do as they wish.
Have a nice day and can you help us with some names next time.

    2. Totally agree, Natassa. Especially about how Mette Marit's dignity and attitude won over the Norwegian people, as was the case with her mother in law before her. (However, neither felt she was more important than her husband or the Royal family) What a delightful couple.

No wonder they are amongst some of our favourite Royal people. Their sweetness and charm radiates beyond their loving words.
All the very best to them.

One thing that struck me with this interview was how Crown Prince Haakon could recognize a part of himself in Mette-Marit - he saw that whenever she was out and about with friends and such as, she could never let loose because of her responsibilities as a mother, just like CP Haakon felt like he couldn't let completely loose because of his responsibilities as a Crown Prince. He said that her having a child wasn't a problem to him, it only showed that she could handle responsibilities as a Crown Princess.
