Queen Sonja was going to attend a symposium to be held in Oslo on May 12, 2020 on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. The corona pandemic made it impossible.
In the video greeting, the Queen spoke as the following: In this difficult period, we have strongly remembered how important you nurses are to all of us. Now, you are where you are needed the most: in your workplaces at health institutions across our country. I am deeply impressed by your efforts, both for the work you do on a daily basis, and especially during the crisis we are currently in.
Queen Sonja sent a video greeting to the Norwegian Nurses Organisation
Thanks to your expertise and care, sick people get the help they need. This helps ensure the security of all of us. I would like to say a warm congratulations on the Nurses Day to you all! Thank you for everything you are doing! Good luck with your vital work!.
Même si c'est pour un message vidéo, la Reine a beaucoup d'allure toujours bien coiffée !

ReplyDeleteIt is hard to get it wrong when you wear classic age appropriate clothes and then to wear the perfect piece of jewelry or a scarf as she sometimes does.....You know what they say, accessorizing is everything!!!
ReplyDeleteAgree entirely, Anon 1pm! A lesson that others could follow. Queen Sonja always seems so calm, so unflustered , so interested in what she is doing. Clasy indeed
ReplyDeleteI don't understand a word of Norwegian but her facial expressions and her voice inflections almost make me understand. Great look, too. GL
ReplyDeleteFantastic article read and HM Queen Sonja looking very stunning. The nurses and doctors would appreciate appreciation as their jobs are tireless and their services is a lifetime of treating the most important human thing to have. Health that is and is something that could change in a blink of an eye. True hopes for the future of the health services and may they truly be supported as they so desperately deserve. All those health workers are marters to their service and the land too smiles upon them.
