On June 25, 2019, after being announced as the new patron of The Royal Photographic Society, the Duchess of Cambridge visited a photography workshop for Action for Children, which is managed by the Royal Photographic Society, at Kingston Warren Park. The Queen has passed the patronage to The Duchess after having held the role for 67 years. The Royal Photographic Society is one of the world's oldest photographic societies, founded in 1853 with the objective of promoting the art and science of photography. On June 25, 2019, Danish Queen Margrethe II arrived at Aarhus Harbour with the Royal Yacht Dannebrog to stay at her summer residence Marselisborg Castle. Upon arrival, The Queen was welcomed by Deputy Mayor Camilla Fabricius. Marselisborg Castle is the royal residence of the Danish Royal Family, which is located in Aarhus. It has been the summer residence of Queen Margrethe II since 1967.

Working visit of Belgian Queen Mathilde to Kenya, 1st day

In her capacity as Honorary President of UNICEF Belgium, Queen Mathilde is making a 3 day working visit to Kenya on June 25-27. The Queen's daughter, Crown Princess Elisabeth accompany her mother during that working visit. The visit is organized by UNICEF Belgium in collaboration with the local staff of UNICEF Kenya and with the support of UNHCR. On the first day of the visit, Queen Mathilde and Crown Princess Elisabeth of Belgium visited Kalobeyei Primary School and Jitegemee Trainings Centre at Kakuma Refugee Camp in the North-western region of Kenya.

Queen Maxima opened the exhibition 'Gek op Geld' at Tax and Customs Museum

On June 25, 2019, Queen Maxima of The Netherlands opened the exhibition 'Gek op Geld' at Tax and Customs Museum in Rotterdam. The exhibition is held in connection with "financial education" theme. The exhibition was created in collaboration with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and contains some banknote and coin types coming from The National Numismatic Collection (NNC). The National Numismatic Collection is the Netherlands' largest collection of banknotes, coins, medals and related items. Afterwards, Dutch Queen Maxima opened the "No Limits Noordwijk Riding School" in Noordwijk aan Zee. The school gives therapeutic riding lessons.

On June 23, 2019, Queen Rania of Jordan visited the Kawon Bookshop in Madaba, a creative space known for promoting a culture of reading and encouraging youth innovation. Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa visited Bourscheid, in the north of the Grand Duchy in connection with celebrations of National Day. The Grand Ducal couple welcomed by the Mayor of Bourscheid, Annie Nickels-Theis. After the welcome ceremony, the couple visited Bourscheid castle. The castle was built in the year 1000. Following the tour, the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess visited Stolzembourg House which was built in 1384 in the outer bailey of the castle. The programme concluded in the court of the castle by a meeting of the Grand Ducal couple and the local population.

On June 22, 2019, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended "The Free from Bullying Children’s Relay Race 2019" (Børnestafetten 2019) event held at Fælledparken in Copenhagen. The Free of Bullying Children's Relay is held every year in Copenhagen and Aarhus. 1500 children joined the event in Copenhagen. The goal for all the participants was the same: to run against bullying. The purpose of the Free of Bullying relay is to raise awareness of bullying and well-being. The event is a collaboration between Save the Children (Red Barnet) and the Mary Foundation.

On June 19, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa received representatives of the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) at Grand Ducal Palace. In her capacity as President of the Foundation of the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess, the Grand Duchess received a check amounting to €38,734.38, corresponding to the net profit of the guided tours for the 2018 season. On June 19, 2019, Dutch Queen Maxima reopened the Central Military Hospital in Utrecht, which has been modernized and renovated. The Central Military Hospital (CMH) offers second-line health care to Dutch soldiers by repatriation from abroad. On June 17, Princess Madeleine visited office of My Special Day Foundation (Stiftelsen Min Stora Dag) in Stockholm to receive information about the ongoing activites of the foundation. Min Stora Dag is a non profit non governmental organization. The foundation organizes activities for the needs of the children who have been diagnosed with a serious ilness and are staying at the pediatrics clinics of Sweden. Crown Princess Mary visited the TrygFonden's Family House at the Regional Hospital Hammel Neurocenter (HN) in Aarhus. The Danish foundation TrygFonden established the family house for families with children who suffer from a prolonged illness. The family house was created for the families of children hospitalized at the Hammel Neurocenter following a brain injury. Thus, the families have the opportunity to have a safe base near their child. The new family house can host eight families and they each have their own apartment plus a number of communal facilities.

On June 17, 2019, Danish Crown Princess Mary visited the new buildings of psychiatry of Aarhus University Hospital in Skejby in Aarhus. The psychiatric ward of Aarhus University Hospital was moved from Riiskov to the new buildings in Skejby. The new Skejby Psychiatry Center of Aarhus University Hospital has 257 beds. Chambord Castle was built by Francis I as a royal hunting lodge. Chambord Castle became a national property in 1930. Yesterday, on June 15, 2019, Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the 87th edition of the Le Mans 24 Hour endurance Race held at the Circuit de la Sarthe and gave the start signal of the race. Danish national historiography connects the introduction of the flag to the Battle of Lindanise of 1219. According to the legend the Danish flag fell down from the sky in the Battle of Lindanise, also known as the Battle of Valdemar, near Lindanise (Tallinn) in Estonia, of 15 June 1219. Presently in Tallinn the Danish King's Garden in Old Town is regarded as the place where the flag fell down, and it is marked with a memorial.
