For me, this is one of the Queen's loveliest outfits, full of charming detail.
First, the lovely summery butter yellow colour - fresh and light. Second the lovely scalloped detail on the coat and dress neckline. Third, the hat. Note how the pattern on the fabric (same as the dress and coat) is stylishly restricted to only the brim and not the crown of the hat. The pointy petaled flower (resembling a summer dahlia) is in perfect contrast to the soft rounded edges of the scalloping. A beautiful outfit top to bottom.
Well done your Majesty, and enjoy happy times in Scotland.

    Sehr schön-wie immer.
Obwohl ich die Farbe Gelb nicht so mag, finde ich, dass diese Nuance sehr frisch und sommerlich aussieht-nicht so stechend.

Is there a colour the queen doesn't look good in? This pale yellow is particularly lovely on her but she always looks amazing whether she's in orange, mint or bright pink!
