Princess Beatrice of York turns 37 today. Princess Beatrice was born on August 8, 1988, and is the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York. At the time of her birth, the Princess was fifth in line to the throne; she is currently ninth, behind her father. Princess Beatrice of York is expected to celebrate her birthday at home with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and their two daughters, Sienna and Athena.
Happy Birthday to this lovely lady. I always find Princess Beatrice a down to earth person. We saw her recently in the London crowds cheering on the English Women soccer team. She just blended in with Edo and the kiddies.

حذفIt is not the red that makes her pale. She has a fair skin because she has red hair. I have the same although my hair is rather auburn but my skin is very fair. I can only wear dark red skirts and trousers but not a red blouse or a red jacket (too near my face).

Don't forget, it was reported that both Beatrice and Eugenie were in tears after seeing articles about their hats. Eugenie auctioned off that Philip Treacy hat for $130,000 US to benefit UNICEF and Children in Crisis. She has more than redeemed herself. Having to go back so many years to find some dirt speaks volumes about how lovely they are, even in the face of the scandal their father has faced. After 14 years, you should try to "get past" it.

The position of the belt on the red dress is not flattering at all.
ردحذفI think the belt is in the right place. She has a short torso like Queen Mathilde and the waist line is a little bit higher, I have almost similar body building. The belt could be more narrow, that's true, but I do not find it unflattering at all.
حذفI agree with you @Zucchina, she does have a shorter torso but hers isn't as noticeable because she is curvy so it is easy to miss. She does have a lovely figure. And her belt, as you stated, could benefit from being thinner.

We cannot and do not congratulate her on a fashion blog that sure totally escapes her attention, that would be a bit ridiculous, like shouting in an empty desert. This is a fashion blog, so talking about that atrocious hat is fully on topic. If she was tasteless enough to wear it, then somebody could have stopped her to do so. She can have loads of hat-fun on other occassions.

Anon1515 the mention of the hat was to draw attention to the fact that she does not always have good fashion choices for various reasons, ie supporting a brand, given or renting a garment or for attention. Keep the ridiculous hats for garden parties. Some of her clothing is very nice. Purely her choice.
