On Baltic Sea Day, August 28, 2025, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden attended the Baltic Sea Festival, which takes place at Berwaldhallen in Stockholm over ten days. This year's edition of the Baltic Sea Festival was held under the theme 'waves' – a symbol for everything from sound and light to the movements of history and emotions.
The festival opened on Baltic Sea Day with Grammy-winning conductor Alan Gilbert, the Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, and rising star violinist Maria Dueñas performing Bruch's Violin Concerto. For the occasion, the Crown Princess wore a Padma emerald ruffle dress by Saloni.

Great dress, nice pattern, the red shoes and a nice pop to the overall look.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree
DeleteShe looks very nice. Wish she would style her hair sometimes in a softer style.
ReplyDeletecss
Agree. She has beautiful hair and needs a less severe style.
DeleteI actually like her with her hair up when she's out amongst people. Not blowing in her face. Not always touching it (like the PoW always does, sorry). Not hanging in the way if she bends down. It's up & always neat. Lovely green dress with the contrasting red shoes. ~~Ruthie
Deleteits wishful thinking at this point, but atleast she took the time to make it neat this time
DeleteDear Ruthie, my opinion too! It’s her professional public hairstyle and it’s a terrific idea.
DeleteRuthie, I agree with you about the hair. She doesn't need tons of useless hair styling products that are harmful to the environment and for her hair also. She keeps it simple, professional and neat.
DeleteThis dress has a beautiful color and shape, only the armholes look a little bit large to my eyes.
Suits her beautifully.
I agree with Ruthie
DeleteWOW!!! Victoria looks smashing in this dress! Beautiful green on her and I love how she chose to wear red shoes to highlight the bits of red in the dress. The style is perfect on her. This is one of her best looks this summer!

Agreed with the red shoes, but the green clutch should have stayed in the car
DeleteBeautiful color green, the patten is lovely. The dress suits her beautifully. Love the contrast red color of her shoes, the green clutch, perfect!
ReplyDeleteA lovely dress. The neckline is beautifully enhanced by her up-do and long earrings. However, I'm not a fan of the shoe or bag colours. I can see that Victoria has tried to match a minor colour in the print with the bag, but that aqua is not visible in the dress at photo distance, so the matching effect is lost. It would still work though, if the bag weren't outcompeted by the shoes. For me the red-and-green is an oddly Christmas-tree like effect. Lyra
ReplyDeleteLyra, I agree with you on the colors of the shoes and bag. Your comparison to an oddly Christmas-tree made me smile!
DeleteVictoria complements the dress, and the dress complements Victoria's excellent figure. Fantastic.

Another great outfit! She looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely dress; colour and style are wonderful. Victoria looks super !
ReplyDeleteCP Victoria looks fantastic in this green dress. Beautiful contrast with her tanned skin. The only thing I would change are the shoes. Red and green are two colors which are not recommended to wear together in one outfit. Personally I do not like it either. Dark green shoes would have been top. But if she doesn't have this color in her shoe closet a black pair in patent leather would be excellent too. This dress is also longer, but the skirt is narrow and the bodice sleeveless which creates a column and suits CPV very well. Very appropriate for the festival.
ReplyDelete“Not recommended to wear” is an interesting idea in fashion. I remember growing up being told by who (? Which authority ?!) that I shouldn’t pair black with brown, nor blue with green, but all these I’ve thrown out as it depends much more on which garments, which shades of colour, and which wearer. On a colour wheel, red sits opposite green and turquoise which means “complementary colours”… and in my opinion her daring red is absolutely smashing with this dress.
DeleteWell I've always heard from my mother's dress maker not to wear red with green or green with red. But blue and green can be combined very well f.e navy and green. I prefer to listen to people who are involved in the couture business and one does not have to be a famous designer but a simple dress maker with tons of experience gave me more than once good advice not only in the field of colors. But if I choose to wear colors together that I like, I will also wear them with or without the advice of somebody else.
DeleteHa! I think a simple dressmaker with tons of experience is definitely worth listening to over and above many fashion designers!
DeleteVery nice style and colour!
ReplyDeleteStunning.

Gorgeous lady!
ReplyDeleteThis dress looks divine on CP Victoria.
ReplyDeleteNot many body shapes could suit this design but Victoria has such a well- trained and, at the same time, feminine body, with all curves in the right places.
This Princess can sport any clothing style.
The colour and pattern are lovely though I am not entirely sure that the red pumps- which are to die for as separates- blend in well in the overall presentation.
I would have preferred burgundy coloured pumps.
The color of this dress is lovely; however, the armholes look too big, both on Victoria and in the picture of the dress at the bottom of the post. The red shoes with it aren’t my favorite, but I think there might be some small red areas in the pattern she was trying to pick up/coordinate with.

I agree with Anon 16:06 that Victoria was using the red shoes to match with the red specks in the dress. Love color of green, but I dislike the ruffles at bottom. I would like to see her wear her hair in pony tail more often and a half up/half down hairstyle would probably look great on her.
ReplyDeleteI didn't saw the red specks in the dress at first. This explains the choice of red shoes. But from a distance the red is not enough visible to wear red shoes with the dress. I already gave my comments about the shoes earlier so I will not repeat here what I already said.
DeleteI have seen now closer photos of the dress and one can clearly see the red dots or berries. Her shoes mach perfectly with the dots.
