On August 28, 2025, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain visited areas recently affected by the severe wildfires in Galicia. In Ourense, they toured the Coordination Center of Forest District XIV in VerĂn, a livestock farm in Cualedro that had been affected, and the Public School of Medeiros in Monterrei.
There, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia learned first-hand about the damage suffered and the needs of the affected residents. At the school, they also met with a group of locals impacted by the wildfire. Tomorrow, Friday, the King and Queen will continue their visit to several towns affected by the wildfires in Extremadura.
Love that they dress casual and not draw attention to themselves, appropriate for the circumstances.I like that she wears a thin band to hold her hair away from her face. Great to see them amongst their people and showing that they care.
ReplyDeleteShe looks good in Gala or casual. The pic with the baby is heartwarming, the little is perfectly happy.

ReplyDeleteYes indeed.
DeleteLetizia a toujours des gestes de tendresse envers les jeunes enfants

That baby picture though! 🥰
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about these wildfire- affected regions.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see the Royal Couple ready to give moral support to those in distress.
Lovely pics showing the Queen cuddling this adorable little one and talking fondly with children.
Ils ont su adopter une tenue décontractée pour ces circonstances ; quand je vois le bébé heureux dans les bras de Letizia, je fonds !
