Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg attended the opening ceremony of the Relay for Life (Relais pour la Vie) event at Coque Luxembourg - Centre National Sportif and Culturel. The Cancer Foundation’s this major event, Relay for Life aims to raise awareness of cancer, and raise money for cancer research and patient care.
The Grand Duchess met with various participants among the “Survivors” and the “Caregivers”, that is, cancer patients who fight with courage and the healthcare staff who take care of them with immense dedication. She then took the floor to thank all the 12,000 participants, as well as all the donors. "It’s all together that we will beat cancer."

MT sometimes seems to like jackets whose cut or length is not flattering to her size.

ReplyDeleteGD Maria Teresa yet again with a jacket that does not suit her body type at all. Why always the huge sleeves, or overblown collars, cropped jackets/cropped tops, tops with a incredible low neckline for business daytime events, etc. She manages to mess it up almost all the time.

DeleteDear DSC, Interesting comments. The overblown sartorial performances seem to mirror the younger-than-ever circus regarding her face, then we have that constant plastic smile. Perhaps all this unnecessary fuss is the result of that official report in which MT was heavily attacked. Nothing seems genuine any more, chaos.

She definitely had a make-over to have a more youthful look, compared to some years ago. One can like it or not, but she looks a lot happier with it, that's for sure. I wouldn't say it doesn't look genuine, personally.
