Very chic and again shows the Grand Duchess's focus on offering patronage witbout stealing the show. Everyone looks pleased with the event.

    1. Very chic maybe, but so dark, so unattractive IMV. I don't understand anything about the handbag or simply bag ??

Maria Teresa looks great, as does Dobet Gnahoré as well. The yellow dress is stunning!

MT Looks chic (cuts a very nice silhouette) and the singer from Côte d'Ivoire looks splendid in her beautiful yellow outfit. I also like her hair.
When I lived in Africa, colourful fabrics and textiles like that were to be seen everywhere and we took them for granted. Now living in the West for over three decades, I realize how much I miss seeing the colours and fabric patterns like we used to every day in the streets and neighbourhood where we lived. Dresses, skirts, men's shirts and tops, 'kanzus'..even a fabric piece tied around the waist as a long, wrapped skirt or around the head as an elegant head wrap. Now I treasure the pieces that I brought with me more than ever, as a reminder of the warmth of the continent and of course the lovely people.

MT is wearing half the fabric we usually see her in, and she looks half the size. Her top still has voluminous sleeves and her pants are pleated, which I think she feels comfortable in so nothing is too form fitting, yet her outfit is closer to the body giving her more shape. When she is in her oversized jackets and coats, paired with wider legged pants, she looks bigger than she really is. This looks much nicer on her.

Dobet Gnahoré's entire look is a feast for the eyes! The vibrant colors in her dress and bold jewelry are amazing! I have no doubt her performance was as impressive, if not more so. ~d

  6. Wow! What a difference in the Grand Duchess' appearance. She looks wonderful. The black belt with gold embellishments create interest without interfering with the sleekness of the ensemble. Well done. And, the Grand Duke looks very handsome, as always.
