On May 18, 2019, The Countess of Wessex officially opened the new facilities of Marden Sports Club, located in Tonbridge city in Maidstone Region of Kent. Crown Princess Victoria visited Bergen for SeaBOS meetings

On May 14 and May 15, Crown Princess Victoria visited Bergen, Norway, where she attended SeaBOS meetings related to sustainable fishing. Seafood Business for Ocean Stewardship (SeaBOS) is an initiative resulting from a series of Keystone Dialogues between scientists and seafood companies. At the meeting, there were representatives from ten of the world's largest fish and shellfish companies. For sustainable management of the oceans, the companies issued a joint statement on a ten-point action program connected to "SeaBOS". On May 17, 2019, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands attended celebrations of 100 years of General Election Law at the Hall of Knights (Ridderzaal) in The Hague. On May 17, 2019, Crown Princess Victoria's 21st hiking in the landscape of Sweden took place in Jamtland. The Crown Princess began the day by visiting a sports field in Östersund. There, The Crown Princess met players and coaches of para football club of IFK Östersund, who gave information about their activities and who played a training match. Next stop of The Crown Princess was Andersön nature reserve located in the southwest of Östersund. There, The Crown Princess was welcomed by Governor Jöran Hägglund and attended a lunch. Entire hiking was about seven kilometers long.

Princess Athena participated in her first soapbox race at Memorial Park in Aarhus

For the first time, Danish Princess Athena participated in the children's soapbox cart race held at Memorial Park during the Classic Race Aarhus. Princess Marie, Prince Joachim and Prince Henrik were there to support her. The Classic Race Aarhus is a festival held at Aarhus Marselisborg Memorial Park, where racers from many European countries participate in with their cars with manufacturing dates before 1965. This year, 300 racers participate in the race. In addition to the car race, the Classic Race Aarhus includes a children's soapbox cart race, among other things. The Classic Race Aarhus is the main motorsport event of the year in Denmark.

Princess Charlene opened Grace Kelly exhibition at the Galaxy Macau

On May 15, 2019, Princess Charlene of Monaco opened the "Grace Kelly From Hollywood to Monaco" exhibition at the Galaxy Macau Exhibition Hall in Macau, China. The exhibition showcases many of Kelly’s achievements. Film posters feature as a core section. More than a dozen posters of her films are displayed in the gallery, plus replicas of film ads on aged Hong Kong newspaper. The exhibition, located at the Crystal Lobby of Galaxy Macau, is open to the public for free until August 28.

On May 16, 2019, Dutch Queen Maxima opened the new Feadship yard in the port of Amsterdam. Feadship is a cooperative venture between Royal Van Lent Shipyard and Royal De Vries Shipyard. The new facility was opened as part of celebrations of the 170th anniversary of Royal Van Lent, which can trace its roots on De Kaag back to 1849. During her visit to the new Feadship yard, Queen Máxima was shown a selection of classic yachts that are part of the Feadship Heritage Fleet. A short presentation on the history of Royal Van Lent was also given to The Queen.

Working visit of Dutch Queen Maxima to Ethiopia, 2nd day

Queen Maxima is making a two day working visit to Ethiopia in her role as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development upon the invitation of the country’s government. On the second day of her visit to Ethiopia, The Queen visited the National Bank and Belcash company in Addis Ababa. Belcash offers products that include a portable power supply with solar panels. Around 57% of Ethiopians have no mains electricity, which limits their development prospects.

The Duchess of Cambridge visited Bletchley Park for a D-Day exhibition

On May 14, The Duchess of Cambridge visited Bletchley Park to tour a special D-Day exhibition in the newly restored Teleprinter Building, marking the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings. Bletchley Park was British government's cryptological establishment used during the World War II. After touring the exhibition, The Duchess met with the restoration team and received information about the restoration that was carried out on the building. The Duchess also met with schoolchildren who have been learning about the codebreakers through the Bletchley Park Trust.
