On Wednesday afternoon, April 1, 2026, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands opened the UPPACT recycling factory at Chemport Innovation Center in Farmsum. At this facility, mixed plastic and textile waste streams are mechanically processed into new construction materials such as posts, planks, and beams. The factory serves as a demonstration and validation site for a circular production concept.
Following the opening, Queen Máxima was given a tour of the factory and spoke with employees and involved partners about the development of the production facility, the technologies used, and cooperation across the circular value chain. She also met with representatives from government and the private sector to discuss regional cooperation, the financing of circular innovations, and value chain development.
The UPPACT DEMO factory is a Dutch circular scale-up focused on processing hard-to-recycle mixed plastic and textile waste streams. Using an Australian mixer-melter technology, these waste streams can be mechanically transformed into sustainable and recyclable construction materials, suitable for applications including public spaces and infrastructure.

Ze lijkt op koningin Wilhelmina met zo'n gedateerde hoed.

DeleteI love the gorgeous burgundy colour of this outfit. The style of the dress is beautiful especially the elegant sleeves, the flared skirt and the neckline. The upturned hat compliments the dress and allows people to see Maxima's lovely face.
ReplyDeleteGreat look for Maxima. I must say she is born for this role of Queen. She always has a smile for the public.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter everyone.

Oh, waar is toch de echte Maxima gebleven, deze standaard saaie jurken passen helemaal niet bij haar en de malle hoed mag ook weg.
