On April 1, 2026, Dutch Queen Máxima visited Circulair Groningen Drenthe, a circular economy association in the northern Netherlands. The association consists of nearly two hundred companies and organisations committed to the transition to a circular economy. It promotes collaboration and knowledge-sharing to make this transition more accessible and supports the implementation of circular business models.
The working visit began in Hoogeveen at Vepa, a manufacturer of sustainable office furniture. Vepa is part of the Fair Furniture Group and supports organisations in creating circular interior solutions. At Vepa’s Circular Centre, furniture and individual components are assessed, stored, dismantled, and refurbished. Queen Máxima spoke with the company’s management and employees about its activities and ambitions in the field of circularity, followed by a tour of the factory.

Another day, another fantastic dress for Maxima. I note that she’s wearing lower than normal (normally towering) heels which is lovely to see.
ReplyDeleteGreat colour and earrings. The design concept just does not work for me. Using excess fabric draping for me is not pleasant to look at.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress skirt/blouse! The color is beautiful and I love the ruching or wrap at the waist. The matching accesories look great but I think it's missing a large piece of statement jewelry.
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely colour on Queen Maxima.
ReplyDeleteI like how she has downplayed the outfit by not including any jewellery or accessories, though anything non-sparkly, such as a flower or a modern non-metal brooch would have also looked fine and appropriate to the visit.
