On February 17, 2026, Queen Máxima visited a shelter for homeless people located on Transformatorweg in Amsterdam. The visit focused on support for homeless EU citizens and cooperation between care providers and partner organizations. The facility offers various services, including daytime shelter, social support and guidance, 24-hour transitional accommodation, and night shelter.

Queen Máxima’s visit began with a tour of the building’s facilities. She was welcomed by Mr. Rutger Groot Wassink, Alderman for Shelter and Social Affairs of the Municipality of Amsterdam. Following the tour, the Queen took part in a roundtable discussion with representatives of the municipality and care and shelter organizations.

    I really like the cut of the dress, but the muted colors (at least on pix) need a little help. The styling on the model shows well with a coordinating leather belt and the necktie sitting higher to allow for more visual space between the neck and waist.

    I agree, this is also a dull look, combined with the messy hair that needs a colour retouch, but better accessories would enliven the presentation.
