I've always liked this dress of Camilla's. It looks lovely with her hat.

Coat = beautifully coloured, warm, high quality wool coat. Obviously. It has a tie waist in common with a dressing gown but nothing else.

You prefer those zip up things she wears? Not me. Many coats have belts. The few belted coats she has are the most attractive and flattering.

Nice dress, rimmed hats suit her, though I think a little lower crown, not sure of the term, would be nice

Would have been perfect with Aquamarine choker.

    1. N'en déplaise à certaines mais mon avis sur cette robe me fait penser au papier peint de la chambre de ma grand-mère ; j'adorerais bien voir l'intérieur de l’endroit de son rangement à chapeaux !

Compared to the other ladies around her (photo N°6), she is dressed beautifully.
However her dress reminds me too much of :
    1 bedroom textile
    2 Laura Ashley
    3 bedroom wallpaper
The coat is not bad, but she always manage to wear the belt badly.
I think it is a woolen coat and too early to wear now. August is not finished and the weather is not really cold yet.
What will she wear next month ? Winter boots ? On the first picture there is already one lady wearing winter boots.
I hope Queen Camilla has ordered some Dior-style dresses for the next season inspired on the white Dior dress she wore last week.

Never too early or late for a warm layer if one feels cold. Can be any month of the year and is quite personal. York and surrounds are not particularly warm, esp late evening / early morning, and can be windy and rainy in any season … so yep if she’s in the region in late August or September we can and should expect coats and boots and they make good sense. I am always bewildered when commenters say someone shouldn’t have warm clothes on, or only use certain colours for certain seasons … is this an American thing?

@7:55 One wears a coat when they are chilled. The time of year has nothing to do with it. What should she wear if she is chilled in the summer months? Wear a beach coverup?

@13:02 No, it is not an American thing. America has a great range of climates, which you must not understand. One part of the country can be going through a blizzard and at the same time another part has people surfing at the beach. While particular colors can be favored in each season, anything goes.

    Q. Camilla looks very `smart`, lovely dress and hat. @ anon 07.55, I don`t know where you live but yesterday was definitely cold enough for a coat in the north of England, and for some to wear boots.

Yes boots with a summer dress. Looks cute and works well on wet grass.

  12. This is a very pretty dress, I don't recall seeing this before. The hat works in well and looks fabulous. Love her pearl choker and earrings, she looks smashing!

Although this hat suits the queen, I don't think its style suits the floral dress. In my opinion, this type of hat is better suited to more rugged, outdoor-inspired clothing. The floral dress itself looks wonderful on the queen. Minor quibble: the colour of the shoes

Actually I see what you mean about the hat not the best for the dress, though she suits the hat

I have seen the dress not that long ago and pattern, colours are delicious, a lovely dress. And also a lovely powder blue coat (why too early to wear, I did not know that we measure coat wearability in months instead of temperature? if it is cold and windy, what's the problem?), why she does not care to bind that belt correctly (and why no one tells her to do so) is a mystery. And yes, the hat is a tad too high - and the choker somehow a higher level of elegance than the dress. Both excellent in their own right, but not together. But the dress is simply too pretty so I tend to overlook the rest.
