I don’t mind the vest with the dress, but did not like it with the pants and blouse.

MM's birthday, congratulate her instead. Her son is an adult and makes his own decisions. Has nothing to do with MM.

      @ Achard62
      I entirely agree with you.
I wonder why such a nasty and off topic comment got past the filter.
      Hideous and cruel words.

@ P the original - I don’t think this is hideous nor cruel, just (unfortunately) a question on many people’s minds this week when they think of the Norwegian royals. It’s not a fashion question but it’s not intended to be cruel either.

      Thank you for your feedback.
I'll try to clear up my previous comment, which was no kind of improptu reaction.
      Yes, you are right.
Many people wonder what Marius's destiny will be but this has nothing to do with the current post.
We were all supposed to just wish this lovely and brave Princess.happy birthday and see how friendly and engaging she was to people here .
      Very few readers did it.
The usual 'someone' made sure she ruined and screw up things and succeeded in her malicious plan once again, as we all can see also considering what she dared say in her removed comment at 20:40.
This is what I call hideous and cruel as a whole, that is planning from the start to attack this Princess in every way possible.
Nobody knows what she is really going through, (her sorrow and desperation as a mother), which adds to her serious medical condition.
Despite all that, she tries hard to perform her official duties as the Crown Princess of Norway and she deserves to be praised for still being able to smile in such troubled waters.
Digging in the dirt and trying to overshadow the aim of this post is indeed hideous and cruel.
There are two options: being empathetic to this Princess or being insensitive and cruel to her.
The usual ' someone' chose the second approach.
Nasty people can produce only nasty things , at least this is my point of view.
      Re: the fashion "review".
Honestly, I didn't expect any further debate on the Princess's ensemble as it is a rewear and It had been already discussed on other posts.

Sadly, whoever posted the above comment (anonymous 19/08/25 20:40), is a very nasty person. The offspring is an adult, clearly thinking of one thing with various individuals. His decisions are not a reflection of bad parenting, but of a Narcisitic young man who only thinks of his male desires, and takes them. This is no reflection on his mother, and you are horrible to say something like you did. Shame on you!

Oh my gosh what a horrible thing to say. This is an adult male who makes his own decisions, despite having been brought up properly. She is not responsible for his choices in life.

20:40 should remember karma is a bitch. None of us are responsible for what our kids do. All we can do is support and help our family as best we can, and a little support and emphatic behaviour for our fellow human beings are never wrong if we just haven't the need to show the world what POS we really are.

Not a birthday she’s likely to forget in a hurry! I fear next year might be as unpleasant for her. I remember someone telling me, ‘when your children are still babies they bring on headaches as they grow into adulthood they bring with them heartache! That’s what I feel for CP MM. She’s having to deal with it on public display! It’s all so very very sad.

    1. @Lowri, if you think it's very, very sad why do you bring the issue here? You pretend to be emphathetic, but you enjoy making the point.

Why can't we just talk about fashion here and now wish MM a very happy birthday (yesterday)? I'm sure she will be better off without the pretend emphaty of others.

@Zucchina - As was I. Comments can be misinterpreted or misconstrued,so wouldn’t it be far better to give people the benefit of the doubt, rather than feel the need to scold them. My words and sentiments were sincere,if I had meant something opposite to that, I would have said so. I didn’t,so I didn’t need to. I hope that clears the matter up.

    8. @Lowri, all good. I admit that I misunderstood your words. The Norwegian royal house is a sensitive place for me because I have lived in Norway a couple of years.

Now a fashion thing. This sleeveless jacket is not my favour but the colours suit her. It's especially beautiful with dark blue.

I think all of us reading the insulting post against beautiful Princess M-M are shocked and saddened. Helen, you should never have included that insulting post. I hold you responsible, as well as the ignorant person who wrote it. And I strongly believe if people can't attach a name to their comments, they should NOT be posted. Own up to what you say. Well I am confused on this blog as to why only a few commented on the fashion choice in the photos. Instead commenting on an individual no one knows personally. I like the different styles this Princess chooses most of the time. I do like this long vest over a solid colour like when she wore it over a dress.

I agree with you... I don't understand why everyone keeps replying to comments they don't agree with. In the end the majority of the comments are just replies that only feed the type of comments they don't want to see here. Endless replies saying "stay on topic", while it ironically keeps everything even more off topic... You see this on every Meghan-post too.
