On Friday, June 6, 2025, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde hosted a royal reception in the Orangery at the Royal Castle of Laeken to celebrate Neighbours' Day. A total of 140 neighbours from the Royal Domain of Laeken were welcomed by King Philippe and Queen Mathilde. The event provided an informal opportunity for King Philippe and Queen Mathilde to meet and talk with several people who live or work in Laeken.
I like this dress, perfect for an afternoon luncheon on a summer day.

ReplyDeleteQueen Mathilde looks beautiful here--perfectly dressed for a luncheon. Do I like the dress--iffy. What I'm not sure about is the oddly placed palm fronds but the shirtwaist style is perfect her. The simple tie belt--which appears to be a drawstring style--is wonderful and elongates her torso. A great look and style!

Wow. In the morning Queen Mathilde was in the Beguinage in Bruges. She left there at 11:30. In the afternoon she was at the table with the neighbourgs of the Royal Domain in Laeken and the people who work in Laeken. She has a lot of visits for the moment. Fashionwise : she changed the dress she wore this morning to wear a new shirt dress. She wore the same shoes and clutch she wore this morning. The dress looks very appropriate to wear at a luncheon held in the Orangerie of the Castle of Laeken.
