On September 15, 2017, Queen Maxima attended the opening of The Day of Youth Professionals congress held by The Youth Quality Register Foundation (Dutch: Stichting Kwaliteitsregister Jeugd, SKJ) at the Jaarbeurs (Yearly Fair) in Utrecht.

    I agree, it looks silly. I love the skirt, though, and it emphasizes the youthful feeling and echoes the ribbons around the stage. Maybe a designer could create a more interesting hairpiece with ribbons and a few sparkles. These little "nothing" hats are boring, a word that you don't associate with Maxima.

    I like the whole vintage feel to this outfit - the stripes and cut of the skirt lift it out of bland territory. Her hair is up and I like the little hat - it finishes off the vintage feel.

    She must have slept late and left before she remembered to select another one of her great necklaces? I love this Natan ensemble. Can't believe she missed the chance for something fabulous on the neckline, just kidding.
