On 30 September 2026, the Princess of Wales visited West Sussex Minibus, a volunteer-run community transport organization that provides transportation services to people who cannot easily access public transportation due to isolation, mobility limitations, or financial barriers. West Sussex Minibus is a member of the Community Transport Association (CTA).
West Sussex Minibus is supported by 284 volunteers and operates a fleet of 11 minibuses. The fleet covers approximately 60,000 miles each year, providing around 13,000 passenger journeys. The Princess of Wales then visited Pulborough Village Hall, where the weekly lunch club provides a welcoming space for people from across the local area to come together for activities and conversation.

Where I live public transport is set up for the able and those who can’t move as fast or as far; it’s brilliant and the drivers watch out carefully for people who need to move slower. But when I travel I see how rare it is. When you can no longer drive or walk distances, how do you move around to keep living? So this service is really beautiful and I’m so glad to see it getting this boost by Catherine’s visit. She looks fantastic and like she is having a ball. Hairstyle A1.

ReplyDeleteSomber colours again. On photo N°4 the people who are outside in the sun wear T-shirts. What will the PoW wear when it is getting cold, if she has to wear a woolen coat already ? On the other side of the channel it was 26°C during the day.
ReplyDeleteSounds like trying to find something to lament about? Wool is not synonymous with warm, depends on the weight of the wool used, and a lot of the royal ladies wear jackets made of wool in summer - nobody seems to see a problem in that.
DeleteI was also wondering about the full length wool coat when others are wearing summer clothes. Obviously she must need it otherwise a blazer or jacket would have been worn. I personally don’t love this blouse, but I love her ponytail.
DeleteReally? Criticising someone for wearing a coat outside then taking it off inside? Some people feel the cold some don’t. Some parts of neighbouring countries are cold others aren’t. Some people want to wear a coat. Later they might wear a different one or none… Certsinly where I live “just across the channel” these days it’s warm in the sun and cold in the shade. Each to their own, surely.
