For the event, the Princess wore a pair of earrings from jewellery label Issy Star, which had been given to her by Sarah Renton when she visited Maidenhead Rugby Club in June 2023. The earrings were created in memory of Sarah’s daughter, Issy Phipps, who took her own life that year at the age of 17. The Princess also wore a teal suit by Edeline Lee, which she had previously worn in Italy.

Stunning suit and I want it. A classic styling and colour and very rewearable. For me there are few better professional styles for women these days than a smart trouser suit, white tshirt and preferably, neat sneakers,

Suit looked better the first time she wore it in italy.
this time is over sized, uneven jacket! perhaps, the dry cleaners messed it up!

I can’t see the difference you see?? Looks great both times. The only thing that could bring it down would be to choose a blouse like the model is wearing, which is completely overly fussy.

Nothing is messed up. The lapel can slide or slip a bit, if buttoned up - so if anything, than a design caused lapel glitch. The photos we had in summer were with an unbuttoned jacket.

    4. Totally agree with Anon 10th Sep 19:32. The shoulders of the jacket are hanging uneven. The jacket looks boxier this time than in Italy. Also the trousers don't fit well this time. They kind of glue at the lower legs. The colour is great but the suit is very expensive for not beeing made of a natural fabric like wool.

  7. I absolutely love the brilliant peacock blue of this pantsuit. It looks great with the white top inside. The blazer has classic styling with the one button closure and the slightly flared leg pants add a contemporary look to the overall outfit. I agree with Anon. 10/9/26 19:32 that it looked better the first time she wore it. Maybe leaving the button open was more flattering for some reason.

The blue color is nice, but is the only interesting part of this outfit. The plain white top and basic accessories make this a utilitarian outfit.

I think that Catherine would be very pleased with your comment. As we understand it she does not want to be watched for her clothes but rather her work. Utilitarian (practical, functional, not just for show) is a perfectly aimed outfit for most of us for most days in our work. And if it happens to be utilitarian and in a beautiful colour, it’s a winner.

@06:09: Very well said. Catherine is always elegant, always carefully chosen outfits - in order for those outfits not to be the centre of attention. At galas and state dinners she represents the Royal Family with all due glamour. But here, she represents herself and her personal work as the Princess of Wales.

The color is lovely and suits the princess. The suit is a bit wider which suits her now that she is still very thin. I do not like the back of her jacket. I'd prefer a simple classic cut for the jacket.

The suit is nice, but the long hair is too much for me

I agree her hair is a distraction and a few inches shorter would frame her face nicely. Hair is an accessory, long thick hair isn’t always enhancing to the over all look. That is unless that is the focus.

È stupenda, il modello di pantaloni le sta divinamente
È possibile evitare di parlare della lunghezza dei capelli? Lo dico in generale, non solo per Catherine.

I like everything on and about this "power suit", colour, cut and fitting - and especially that special feature on the back, that gives it a slightest "sporty" touch, because outdoorsy jackets often have this feature. Special shoutout for the nice chunky necklace , she wore it on George's first day in Eton too. It is a non-expensive necklace, and so much more decorative for otherwise very simple outfits than those very thin golden necklaces some ladies prefer. Well chosen for both outfits! - I am not sure if the hair likes/dislikes get any more enjoyable by repeating them each time, be they positive (Sophie) or less so (Catherine) ...

I don't like the suit buttoned and I'm not a fan of the color. I prefer the darker shoe to the lighter ones she wore in Italy.

The suit is okay. I like what the woman in the first photo that greeted them wore. Interesting look towards the bottom with the wide leg pants and bow blouse.
