On the morning of Thursday, 10 September 2026, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands attended a symposium of the national Appropriate Care and Care Evaluation Programme (ZE&GG) at Green Village in Nieuwegein, Utrecht. ‘Less is More’ is a movement that contributes to appropriate care in the Netherlands.

Queen Máxima attended the opening of the ‘Ask Anything’ market, where healthcare professionals can obtain and exchange information and expertise for their own ‘Less is More’ projects. She subsequently attended an interactive workshop on implementing changes in healthcare practice. For the occasion, Queen Máxima wore a modified outfit by the fashion house Natan, consisting of a blouse and skirt, with the skirt shortened.

    Interesting changes to the original design. She wears this colour well. I like the colour of her shoes, they seem to be a gray black on my screen.

    Most of the time, I love her outfits as outrageous as they sometimes are. But this time, this is hideous, matronly, careless. She must be tired and didn't even try to make an effort. So sorry because I like her very much. But, hey, we are all allowed to have our les fortunate days.
