On July 7, 2026, Countess Eloise, the daughter of Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands, attended the presentation of the Natan Couture Fall/Winter 2026/27 Couture collection at L'Hôtel de La Marck, the residence of the Belgian Ambassador in Paris, during Haute Couture Week. At the presentation of the new collection, the Countess wore a cherry-red ensemble from the Natan Couture Autumn/Winter 2026/27 collection.

Chiedo scusa, ma questi vestiti sono orrendi.
ReplyDeleteLet's begin with the good news: the pale blue blouse is pretty. But alas, the wearer is not Countess Eloise. As for the cherry lace melodrama, I don't see any design, only fabric overflow, which is really not the same. The ladies in lilac and red wear, from the waistline upwards, also fabric surplusses without any recognisable design effort.
ReplyDeleteI’m not familiar with Countess Eloise but she’s a beautiful woman. She has the style to wear haute couture and I really love this outfit. The color and lace design are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteEloise’s outfit is a beautiful color (and I wish I had the Countess’s enviable figure!),
ReplyDeletebut imo a long see-through skirt with matching shorts underneath is the opposite of elegance. If playfulness was the objective, it could have been achieved without wasting all that gorgeous lace! If the skirt had been fully lined with a matching satin or taffeta, I think the look could have been sensational.

DeleteWhat you suggest is old fashion like it was in the old days. Natan is a brand which always try to come with something no one else has done yet. You like it or you don't but Natan will almost always try to make popular a dress or a set which is unusual. After a number of years the other more traditional brands are trying to copy it. Exemple : they were the first to come with asymmetric sleeves or arrangements. Now others are trying to do the same, sometimes it looks good or even better, but sometimes it looks like a very bad replica.
can someone enlighten me as to why shes not referred to as Princess Eloise? her father is a prince after all.
ReplyDeleteIf only there was such a thing like a search engine. Oh wait......
DeleteThe 23-year-old daughter of Princess Laurentien and Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands bears the official title Countess Eloise of Orange-Nassau, Jonkvrouwe van Amsberg. She was the first grandchild of Queen Beatrix and Prince Claus, and before the royal couple’s resignation, she was a member of the Dutch royal house. Since the accession of her uncle, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Maxima, however, she has lost that standing, but remains a member of the royal family. I’ve google and copypaste…Maja
DeleteRoyal decree in 2001 established she would be know as contess, part of royal family not royal house,
DeleteGreat! Just what the world needs — more Natan!
ReplyDeleteOnce again, I can't understand why so many royals love to wear Natan. Both red outfits are terrible, the short one with the caplet is risible and cheap looking, and the long one is a mish mash of lace, shorts, xtralong (and white shoes). A total miss.
ReplyDeleteWikipedia is your friend if you want to know something about hereditary/non-hereditary titles in different countries.
ReplyDeleteI'm now just waiting for the new collection to be worn by some the royals...o dear...stand by for the comments
ReplyDeleteThe lace is nice but the design is … absent. Take a model, put her in shorts and a tshirt, wrap her in a length of lace, pin it together, and call it haute couture. The girl is beautiful, the garment is strange.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the dress (or whatever it is). Eloise looks like she got tangled in a burgundy curtain.
ReplyDeleteThe model looks like a man.
