On April 20, 2026, King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited the “Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style” exhibition at the King’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace in London. The King and Queen were greeted by Lady Sarah Chatto at the King’s Gallery. Featuring more than 300 items, many on display for the first time, this is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition of the late Queen’s fashion ever mounted.

i like it when Queen Camila dresses neatly like this; low heels, stockings, nice dress.

What nice memory on the late Queen. To see all the nice, elegant gowns and everyday dress. Wish I could visit the exhibition myself.
Q Camilla looks lovely. Nice to see Lady Chatto there as well.

At first glance, one is reminded that Camilla’s looks obviously lack the polish and finish that defined QEII’s. But also, I’ll always find Camilla charming in her no-nonsense vibe, paired with well made clothes meant to be reworn, and exquisite pieces of jewelry… she is (maybe annoyingly to some) definitional British Old Money

I disagree with your perspective. The late queen was the reigning monarch, queen Camilla is the consort of the monarch, a lesser role, I find her respectful, discreet presence at this event very good and any extra polish would have been inappropriate.

  4. How wonderful to see Lady Sarah! Queen Camilla looks good in this shade of blue. The front bodice is interesting. It looks to be heavily embellished. The brooch is a lovely addition. On this occasion, I do like the light shade black hose and black shoes, this looks great!
How marvelous to see the array of Her Majesty's clothes, a wonderful collection of some very iconic outfits.

  6. Tout de suite, j’ai remarqué cette petite broche sur cette robe dont je n’aime pas ce genre de plastron !

I always felt that this particular dress had headmistress vibes, however, the tinted hose and the matching pumps now give this outfit more shine and profile. Before, the boots made the dress look somewhat stubby. Dark blue is neutral, a very respectful choice of colour, which enables others to focus on the late queen and not on the present queen consort.

Queen Camilla is wearing beautiful and elegant shoes. Her dress however I didn't like before and still don't like it. The shoulders and sleeves are too wide. I do not like how the sleeves are sewed into the arm holes. I do not like how the bodice is made with a sort of embroidery on the front.
Lady Sarah Chatto's is dressed much too long, she looks like a nun.
