What! Not wearing orange!! Not quite sure what she is wearing but the trousers are just too wide, the stole seems superfluous, imo.
ReplyDeleteUgly outfit, indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
DeleteDisco queen!
ReplyDeleteAgree 100 %.
DeleteUgly outfit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteC’est un plaisir de voir la princesse Beatrix dont j’admire l’élégance !
ReplyDeleteMaxima wears a very good pair of glittering trousers combined with a beautiful black top of which I love the V-neckline. Ir really is a festival evening outfit, whereas the king wears a rather flat day-suit.
ReplyDeletePrinses B: elegant and well- kept as ever.
Maxima is wearing black sequin trousers. It's a rewear. I love it for this King's day concert with all apparently young artists. She hardly ever wears black but she's so beautiful in black. Beatrix elegant as ever.
ReplyDeleteI do not think the trousers are too wide but too long. Superflous stole 08:17 I don't agree, one cannot tell how warm or cool it will be inside. There is another very useful thing about a stole, if one is menopausel when one minute you are burning and 3 minutes later freezing you can slide a stole on and off or even double it up in a nonchalont manner without anyone noticing.
ReplyDeleteYou are right Anonymous 11:32
DeleteIn the evening the t° is very cool. As well Maxima as Beatrice have a warm stole with them, which is normal.
The trousers are too long, the material gives them a puffed out appearance, rather odd. @11.32 thank you go your knowledge,I shall always carry a stoke when I am menopausal.
ReplyDeleteA very comfortable but sparkling outfit for no doubt a very jet lagged queen. She brings the party with her exuberant outfit and I love her for it!
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteAgree! Love Maxima!
DeleteThe King has had a haircut and it looks great. He really does look younger when his hair is shorter imo.
ReplyDeleteLove the top half of the Queen's outfit however the trousers are either too long, too wide or both.
It's always nice to see Ps Beatrix
Funny trousers! Is the woman in orange blouse, in the 4th picture, wearing similar trousers with Maxima?
ReplyDeleteYou are right!
Delete@Zucchina: It sure looks like they are wearing the same trousers! lol...

Love the outfit - it's very Maxima! And if she can't wear it, who can? She's got the perfect figure for the wider leg pants, she certainly has the oppurtunies to wear fashion forward clothes and she has all the occasions to try out everything that her designers offer. To me she embodies everything a modern Queen should be in her style choices. Love Maxima!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with all your comments. Well said.

They all look great, I always like to see mom included.
ReplyDelete@16:53-I think a lot of people could have worn it, and it is not 'fashion forward ' if a re-wear as some have said. She rarely makes a good choice,IMO, but does like to take centre stage unlike other equally royal ladies.
ReplyDeleteBeatrice looks soo sweet🙂
ReplyDeleteThis looks to be fun! I don't mind this outfit though the pants the Queen is wearing look long and a bit more baggy.
ReplyDeleteThe king looks disheveled, pants too short. Maxima's pants are clownish.
