The Druk Gyaltsuen Jetsun Pema attended the Salang Tendrel of the Kurukulee Centre

On March 13, 2026, Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan attended the Salang Tendrel (groundbreaking ceremony) of the Kurukulee Centre in Gelephu Mindfulness City. Princess Deki Yangzom Wangchuck and Princess Dechan Wangmo Wangchuck accompanied the Queen for the Salang Tendrel. The five-storey centre features a large and open prayer hall on the ground floor dedicated to the main statue of Jetsunma Kurukulle.
