On March 12, 2026, the Duchess of Sussex visited Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The Duchess’s visit to the hospital was part of CHLA’s month-long Make March Matter campaign. It is an annual fundraising initiative that brings together celebrities and the community with the mission of creating hope and building a healthier future. The funds raised help support the hospital’s operations so that it can continue to help sick children.
The Duchess first stopped by the Creative Oasis area of the hospital, where she spent time watercolor painting with the young patients. She then spent time with bed-bound patients who were unable to leave their rooms for the painting activity. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is one of the nation’s leading children’s hospitals.
