The Princess Royal attended in her capacity as Chancellor of the University of Edinburgh, which received an award for the research and education provided by its Centre for Fire Safety Engineering. The Queen Elizabeth Prizes for Higher and Further Education are part of the UK national honours system, recognising outstanding work at the highest level of the state in universities and colleges.

Its great to see the Duke and Duchess attending. I love the color of her ensemble. Her necklaces look splendid. I love the red shawl The Princess Royal is wearing.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see all the royals out and about.(Tara)
ReplyDeleteIs that not what they do all the time?
DeleteDapper dat ze nog durven opdraven met in de gedachte dat ze wisten van de misstappen van Andrew
ReplyDeleteMost families will instinctively still love their relative who’s in trouble, finding it extremely painful and confusing. Being in public with this is much, much harder. Let us be gracious.
DeleteLa duchesse a toujours beaucoup de goût pour se vêtir en portant des bijoux qui se combinent à ravir avec sa tenue ainsi qu'avec la couleur de ses lunettes !
ReplyDeleteI like the length of the queens hair. Fashion wise every thing is just okay today. The intricacies of Anne’s robe is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see so many members of the family supporting this. Education is very important to everyone and everywhere. Camilla's dress is lovely, from what one can see.
